Second and third period along with lunch went by faster than I wanted them to. Because I had a class with ash which I was excited for but also a little scared for. I knew I had to ask Ashton about hanging out with Calum. I guess I'm a little nervous for asking him to hang out with cal but he's never done anything bad to me, he just flirted with me and that caused Ashton to flip shit and become protective over me.
I walked into English and seen Ashton sitting next to Luke and Hailey in the back corner with an empty seat next to him. I walked over there and they all shot me a smile.
" hey um is this seat taken? " I smiled at ash
" it is now " he smiled back at me.
I sat in the seat next to him and turned to see Hailey and Luke looking at us from behind. Then my other friends Mike and Claudia walked into class hand in hand and with big smiles on their faces.
" I think someone got laid last night. " Ashton whispered into my ear.
I couldn't help but chuckle at his comment. Claudia and Mike sat in the desks in front of Ashton and I.
" hey Australia why are you two so happy? " I asked Michael.
" well America why aren't you? " he smiled
" who said I wasn't. " I responded
I didn't bother to ask anymore questions because I wasn't getting any answers.
The end of the day was vastly approaching and I kept procrastinating on telling Ashton that I was going to see cal after school for some coffee. I think ash knew something was up because he kept looking at me and rubbing my lap trying to comfort me. The bell for dismissal rang and we all quickly exited the class. Ash and Luke walked to their locker while Hailey and I walked to ours.
" Lyss what is wrong. And don't say nothing because I know there is something bugging you. " hails said pulling books out of her locker.
" well Calum invited me for coffee and I don't know if I should go " I said grabbing my bag
" why not? It's just coffee.. I'm sure Ashton wouldn't care. " she shrugged
" I don't know man.. I feel like ash wouldn't want me to go because him and cal haven't spoken since that day at the beach. " I stated
" that was like 4 weeks ago.. I'm sure he won't care " she said slamming the locker.
" look if Ashton loves you he won't choose your friends. Plus he should trust you. Just promise me you'll talk to him " she said starting to walk towards Luke.
" yeah yeah okay " I said following her
Ash and I went in different ways as Luke and Hailey, we stopped at his car and go into it. I slammed the door shut on accident.
" hey Alyssa take it easy on my doors. " Ashton laughed
" I'm sorry " I said pulling my phone out of my back pocket revealing 4 text messages.

My heart began to race when I knew I had to talk to Ashton about hanging out with calum. I decided to just get it done and over with.
" hey ash can I ask you something " I said turning in my seat to face him.
" yeah babe what's up " he said starting his car.
" do you trust me? " I asked
" of course I do! Why would you ask me something like that?" He asked
" good okay. And my actual question is um.. How would you uh.. Feel about me being friends with- " I paused
" friends with who? " he said
" c-Calum " he slammed on his breaks.
" what? " he asked with disbelief
" yeah " I said
" why? What did he do " he said getting all protective over me.
" he didn't do anything you see, calum hasn't ever done anything to me so why should I avoid him, like you do." I said not realizing it.
" Alyssa.. You really think I've been the one avoiding him?! I've texted and called him almost everyday because he was my best friend! Calum is avoiding me I'm not avoiding him. I don't care who you're friends with only because I love you and I trust you. " he sighed
" I'm sorry ash I didn't mean to say it like that I just thought- " he cut me off
" I know what you thought you thought I hated him because of what happened at the beach. Well I don't " he said hitting the gas pedal
I couldn't find the words to say after that so the ride home was filled not very much talking and faint music coming through the speakers.
" thank you for driving me home" I say as we pulled up into my driveway
" anytime. I love you " Ashton says leaning over the center council kissing me.
" I love you more " I smiled getting out of the car.
" doubt it " he giggled while driving away.
