Abhi sat beside Ishu's bed, his eyes fixed on his friend's pale face, his hand clasped tightly around Ishu's limp fingers. The room was heavy with silence, the only sound the soft beeping of the machines surrounding Ishu's bed. Abhi's voice was laced with a mix of frustration, worry, and desperation as he spoke, his words tumbling out in a rush. "Oye ye kya nautanki laga rakhi hai tune? Jb dekho tb hospital mein aake admit hota rehta hai. Hota hai toh woh bhi theek hai per ye silent treatment kyun dene lagta hai humein? Jbse ho gya dekh rha hu uth hi nhi rha hai. Sabko pareshaan krke rakha hai. Chal bahut ho gya uth ja ab."But Ishu lay motionless, his eyes closed, his chest rising and falling with each shallow breath. Abhi's words hung in the air, unanswered, and the silence was oppressive, weighing heavily on Abhi's shoulders. He felt a lump form in his throat as he gazed at Ishu's still form, his eyes welling up with tears. He sniffed, trying to hold back the emotions that threatened to overwhelm him.
"Apni ye hero giri na tujhe band karni hogi," Abhi's voice cracked as he spoke, his words barely above a whisper. "Kya zaroorat thi mujhe bachake khudh ko harm krne ki? Hone deta jo ho rha tha. Lagne deta mujhe. Mar thodhi jaata mein." The words spilled out of Abhi's mouth, a mixture of anger, fear, and helplessness. His body shook with sobs, his eyes streaming with tears as he gazed at Ishu's unconscious form.
Rishi's voice was sharp, a warning, as he spoke, "Abhi." He couldn't bear to hear his little brother speak like this, the pain and desperation in his voice cutting deep into Rishi's heart. He glanced at Yuvraj, who stood frozen, his eyes fixed on Ishu's face, his expression unreadable. Yuvraj's eyes didn't even blink, his gaze fixed on Ishu with an intensity that was unnerving. Rishi's eyes narrowed, his mind racing with thoughts of how to reach Ishu, how to bring him back from the brink. The tension in the room was palpable, the air thick with unspoken emotions, as the group stood vigil around Ishu's bed, waiting for him to wake up, to come back to them.
""Nahi bhai...sahi keh rha hu mein...he needs to learn how to be precautious...he can't behave like this," Abhi's words cut through the air, striking a chord in Rishi's heart. Rishi's eyes narrowed, his mind racing with thoughts of how to address the situation. He could understand Yuvraj's dilemma as a brother, but as a friend, he knew Yuvraj was handling the situation all wrong. Abhi's words were laced with a mix of frustration, worry, and desperation, and Rishi knew he had to intervene before things escalated further.
Rishi slowly moved towards where Yuvraj was standing, his eyes fixed on his friend's rigid back. Yuvraj didn't flinch, didn't even acknowledge Rishi's presence, his gaze fixed on some point beyond the window. Rishi's voice was calm, measured, but with a clear warning, "Abhay bahar hai...mein use andar leke aa rha hu...tu koi bhi tamasha nhi karega." The words hung in the air, a clear message to Yuvraj to back off, to let Abhay in without causing a scene.
Yuvraj understood the warning, understood that Rishi was drawing a line in the sand. Without a word, he turned and moved out of the room, his footsteps quiet on the floor. Rishi watched him go, his eyes never leaving Yuvraj's back. He knew Yuvraj was struggling, struggling to come to terms with his brother's condition, but he also knew that Yuvraj's behavior was not helping. By moving out of the room, Yuvraj was avoiding a confrontation, avoiding a situation that could escalate into something more. But Rishi knew that avoidance was not the solution, that eventually, Yuvraj would have to face Abhay, face the reality of his brother's condition...
As soon as Yuvraj emerged from the room, he was met with a surprise. Shekhar, a man he hadn't expected to see, stood before him, his expression neutral. "Tum?" Yuvraj inquired, his brow furrowed in curiosity. Shekhar explained, "Woh hukum ne bulaya tha...he needed to talk something important...unhi se milne aaya tha." Yuvraj nodded, his mind processing the information.
