Y/N POV
"Mom, I’m leaving!" I called out, slipping on my shoes by the door.
“Wait, Y/N! Take your tiffin!” my mom shouted, rushing towards me with the lunchbox in her hand.
I smiled, taking it from her. “Thanks, Mom. Love you!” I said, planting a quick kiss on her cheek before stepping out.
The familiar breeze hit my face as I walked to the bus stop. Standing there, I watched the city slowly wake up. The bus arrived with a screech, and I hopped on, finding a window seat. As the vehicle hummed its way to the university, I leaned back, letting my thoughts wander.
Moments later, the bus stopped in front of the university gate. I stepped out, adjusting my bag and looking up at the large campus that had become my second home.
“Y/N!” A familiar voice called out from behind.
I turned around, surprised, and saw them—Lisa, Jisoo, Jennie, and Rosé—all standing there, waving at me.
“Lisa!” I yelled, running towards her. Wrapping my arms around her, I couldn’t help but grin. “I missed you guys so much! Where were you all these days?”
She chuckled softly, pulling back from the hug. “Sorry, Y/N. We got caught up with some work, but we missed you too.”
The others nodded, smiling apologetically.
“Well, you’re here now, and that’s all that matters,” I said, pulling all of them into a group hug.
“We missed you too, Y/N. A lot,” Jisoo said, her tone warm.
“Alright, enough hugs for now,” Rosé teased. “Let’s get inside before the lectures start.”
We all nodded, making our way towards the main building.
“So, what do you have first?” Jennie asked as we walked through the bustling campus.
“Maths,” I replied, groaning a little.
“Same here,” Lisa said, nudging me.
“Lucky you,” Rosé sighed. “Jennie and I have History.”
“And I have English, so I’m all alone,” Jisoo added with a dramatic pout, making us laugh.
“Aww, don’t worry, unnie,” I said, patting her shoulder. “We’ll all meet during the break, right?”
