"Y/N, wake up, dear! You’ll be late for university," her mother called as she entered Y/N’s room, pulling the curtains open, letting the soft morning light flood the room.

It was 7 a.m.

"Mmm, just a little longer, Mom," Y/N mumbled, burying her face deeper into her pillow.

"Y/N, you need to get up! You don’t want to be late for your first day at university, do you?" her mom insisted, gently shaking her shoulder.

"Urgh, fine..." Y/N groaned, finally sitting up with a sigh. "I’m getting up."

Her mother smiled. "Good! I’m making breakfast, so come down soon."

"Yeah, I’ll be down in a minute," Y/N replied, dragging herself out of bed and heading to the bathroom with her towel for a quick freshen-up.

Time skip

Y/N came downstairs to find her mother already seated at the dining table, waiting for her. The smell of pancakes filled the air.

"Come sit, sweetheart," her mom said, noticing Y/N's sleepy face as she shuffled over to the table.

Y/N sat down and began eating her breakfast. "Thanks, Mom."

"So, how are you feeling about your first day at Seoul University?" her mother asked, watching her with a hint of concern.

Y/N hesitated, her fork hovering over her plate. "I don’t know, Mom. I’m a little nervous, I guess. It’s such an expensive and prestigious school. But I’ll try to make some good friends."

Her mother smiled reassuringly. "You’ll do great. Just be yourself. And remember, if you need anything, just give me a call, okay?"

Y/N nodded. "I will. Thanks, Mom."

"Good girl. Now finish up, you don’t want to be late on your first day!" her mom said, giving her an encouraging smile as Y/N took a deep breath, ready to face the day.

(So, here’s the thing: Y/N was originally attending a regular university, but her mom decided to transfer her to Seoul University, one of the most prestigious and expensive schools in the country. When Y/N asked her mom why she made the sudden change, her mother explained that she had landed a better job and could now afford to send Y/N to a top-tier university. Y/N, always respectful of her mom’s decisions, agreed and accepted the change. And now, today marks her first day at Seoul University.)

"Let’s go, dear," her mom said, grabbing the car keys as they headed out the door.

Y/N nodded and slid into the passenger seat, buckling up. As her mom started driving, they chatted about everything—studies, work, and life in general. They had always been open with each other, never keeping secrets. Their bond was strong, more like best friends than just mother and daughter.

As they pulled up to Seoul University, Y/N’s eyes widened. The campus was enormous, with sleek, modern buildings that screamed luxury. It looked every bit as expensive as she’d imagined.

"Wow... this place is huge," Y/N murmured, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves.

"Of course it is," her mom smiled softly, giving her a reassuring look. "But you belong here, Y/N. You’re going to do great."

"Thank you, Mom. I’ll make you proud, okay?" Y/N said, her voice full of determination as she looked at her mother.

Her mom smiled warmly. "I’m already proud of you, sweetheart. Now go on, or you’ll be late for your class."

Y/N nodded, unbuckled her seatbelt, and stepped out of the car. "Bye, Mom!" she waved, watching as her mom drove off. With a deep breath, she turned toward the massive entrance of the university.

As she walked through the campus, Y/N felt a mix of nerves and excitement buzzing inside her. Everything looked so polished and intimidating. But she quickly reminded herself—she was here for a reason.

She headed straight to the principal’s office to get her class schedule. "Okay, first stop: schedule, then... I survived the day," she muttered to herself with a small smile.

Y/N took a deep breath and approached the principal's office. She knocked lightly on the door, her heart racing with anticipation.

"Come in," a voice called from inside.

She opened the door and stepped inside. "Excuse me, sir. I’m Y/N Jeon. I’m here to pick up my schedule for the semester," she said, trying to sound confident despite her nerves.

The principal, Mr. Kang, looked up from his desk and smiled warmly. "Welcome to Seoul University, Y/N! Let me get that for you." He reached for a neatly folded schedule and handed it to her.

"You have a mix of classes, and they’re in different buildings, so be sure to check the campus map if you need help finding them," he explained.

Y/N opened the schedule and scanned the list of classes, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. "Thank you, sir!" she replied, her anxiety easing a bit.

"Good luck with your first day! If you have any questions or need assistance, don’t hesitate to ask," he added with an encouraging smile.

"Thanks! I appreciate it!" Y/N said, smiling back as she turned to leave.

With her schedule in hand, she glanced around the bustling campus, watching students chat, laugh, and hurry to their classes. The atmosphere was vibrant, and it made her heart race with anticipation. "Alright, time to dive in," she said to herself, taking a deep breath before heading to her first class.

As she walked, she mentally prepared for the day ahead, hoping to meet new friends and make the most of her experience at Seoul University.
