Part 1:
"No, I swear I saw a reindeer," Sara tried to convince us. "Sure we believe you, Sara. Anyway let's finally start on the chocolate dough, while Emily, Tilda, and Kaya get started on the normal cookie dough," Julie, our so-called 'mum' of the group said, taking charge of our Christmas cookie-baking night.
I turned to Julie and Ivy. "Which ingredients will we need? Flour, cocoa powder?" I asked. "Yes, those, but also sugar—" I grabbed all the ingredients as Julie listed them and assembled them on the kitchen counter.
"Okay let's weigh everything before we start, it'll make the whole mixing process a lot easier," Julie instructed. "Okay mum," Sara joked. I chuckled before walking over to one of the drawers to grab the weighing machine.
As everyone was busy with getting started on their respective tasks I glanced over to Tilda. She looked good today, but what am I saying, she always looked good. And the cute pajamas she was wearing? Yeah, those were my birthday gift for her just a few days ago.
While I was openly checking her out, she suddenly looked up at me as well. As she realised what was going on her face started to heat up a bit, I smirked at her reaction before focusing my attention back to Sara and Julie, currently fighting over what colour of glitter to use as decoration.
"Guys," I said while holding back a laugh because they looked like two toddlers fighting about a Barbie doll, "We can always do half-half." Right after I said that they both went quiet, turning around to look at me with shock written across their faces. "No," Sara said firmly. "I agree with Sara, that is not an option," Julie said while nodding her head. I couldn't hold my laughter back any longer. "Look at you two finally agreeing on something after ten minutes." "Oh okay, fuck you honestly," Sara scoffed which only made me laugh more.
"Julie work out a truce with her, you're the responsible one out of the two of you," I said while turning to look at Tilda once again, and of course she caught me staring, again. I just couldn't help myself, she looked so cute in her pajamas and the blush coating her cheeks only complimented her cuteness. "Stop staring," Tilda mouthed, to which I just shook my head before turning away and chuckling to myself. "What glitter have we decided on?" I asked, looking at Julie. "White," she grumbled. "Yes it's supposed to be like snow you know?" Sara said jumping up and down excitedly. "Okay, white glitter it is then."
The whole baking and decorating process with the girls was incredibly fun, it was so good to hang out with them after all the stress from our exams had finally worn off. "Our cookies taste better," Sara said in a matter-of-fact tone. "Sara," Julie immediately intervened, "You can't compare the two, since they're different flavours." "Yeah whatever, mum," she mumbled. It was good to see Sara being her energetic usual self, lifting the mood of the whole group into the clouds.
"Are you guys up for watching Home Alone? It would fit very perfectly with the cookies we've just finished," I asked. "Duh of course we have to watch a Christmas movie today. What else would you do? Oh, I know! Probably sneak to the bathroom to text that secret girl whose messages you smile at every time she texts you," Kayla straight up called me out. "Chill Kaya, you know I would never abandon you guys," I said while laughing. "Kaya's got a point though. We really wanna know who she is. You've been keeping it a secret for months now. Will you please tell us?" Tilda agreed with Kaya. I only glared at her in response, "Let's watch Home Alone guys. Who wants a cup of milk?" "All of us I'm guessing," Emily said while grabbing six mugs.

After we've all finally settled onto the sofa and the ground in front of it with our mugs, cookies, blankets, and pillows, we started the movie. About two-thirds in almost everyone had fallen asleep though.
