Coda and Phantom! Both represent me equally. As much as I show Coda, and want to be her, Phantom is really what I feel like at the moment.
Coda: Wolf fox space hybrid (just a made up animal Ig. It's not important) Gender: ??? What's that?(I have no idea) for now, I'm A-Enby foggender, and use She/They/Xem pronouns. But any is fine with me. I don't care enough to bother correcting anyone anyway. Coda represents who I try to be. Constantly hiding, and shying away from being different, despite wanting to stand out. I can't handle fame whatsoever and have had multiple silent panic attacks where I stare at the screen in disbelief over MR as of now, hope for the best, prepared for the worst. The lore I made up, to have a logical explanation of myself even knowing about YouTube and things like that when I live in The Void, is.. Phantom can make small portals, and while no one can see them, Coda(and Phantom) can explore and watch worlds as they unfold. It explains why, despite any internet in The Void, I can interact with others and content online. Cant directly change anything if I walk into a world, but everyone can hear me if I really try hard enough. Other dimension travelers can see me though, and I have definitely formed a connection while I've been here.
Phantom: Void Entity/creature. Gender: Unknown/Genderless (They/It) Phantom explains my mental state. Their body does not conform to rules, and therefore can shapeshift into things not possible for other beings. They can manipulate its size, and just... watches. Permanently. Using body language to communicate due to its lack of voice-box, and mouth for that matter. The description I gave it really explains the spiral I've fallen down, being an entity, not living and more so formed by negative energy and thoughts, as well as mental sanity, and not really feeling anything is just... me. Sure they're mute. I'm definitely not mute IRL, more talkative actually, but just an abstract way to take my crumbling mental state and make it into a cool character was a fun idea. And I went for it. (It actually existed before Coda.). I know it's a more storybook approach to explaining myself, but how tf should I even explain my mental state?
Phantom is definitely one, if not the coolest character I've ever made. I love their ink-like appearance-
