woah. two chapters here in one day? what is wrong with me.

 
Anyway, I made this to bring up something that, while I already talked about it in the conversations, I wanna bring it up with more detail here.

     The question:
Should I remake MR?

Now, before you start being confused or rioting on why I would even do this in the first place, let me explain.

My motivation has been completely destroyed. I have so many ideas, and so many plot-holes to fix up so they can make sense.
It's kinda just the same thing that Shillach did with AzureHowl/AzureHowl Reborn.  just rebooting the story with a new story that the creator will actually enjoy making.

Don't get me wrong, I love MR a lot, but, as I said, My motivation has been down and I'm currently suffering the torture that is art block.
along with this, anytime I wanna continue the story in my head before going to sleep, I get two lines in before my mind goes blank and/or turns to static. while with my own stories(the ones with my OCs), they just continue flooding my mind.
I can't focus on MR anymore.

It also doesn't help that I keep wanting to make even more stories. like the Baru story I was talking about that was based off of 3008, it's weird glitch I found, and Evade.
 
I have a lot of references for MR, hell have an entire info doc on just those alone, but none of those references/inspirations are things I'm that interested in anymore.
really the only thing that's stayed consistent is my morbid curiosity with mental illness(like Catatonia, Emotional Numbness, Trauma Responses, the list goes on), and how to work myself into the story somehow.    though, given as I write only what I've experienced, but exaggerated and magical, that was gonna happen anyway.

I'm fine with continuing the story as it is now, because I'm reading the entire book to mark things that no longer apply, and/or make no sense, one-time things, or just flat out throw off the entire story.
If I do re-write MR, I'll make one long chapter explaining the old ending. as the ending I currently have will be used for the new one, or hell, even change a bit now that I'm able to do whatever.
 
If I don't end up re-writing MR, then just judging by how slow working on this book has been for the last 3 chapters, I'll probably lose motivation entirely and just leave it to rot. (I'll try though.. I do like the story)

Uhh... I guess pros and cons for re-writing, and for staying the same.

First, the cons for re-writing:
 - I'll have to re-write the whole book.
 - I might have to change the story to fit the upgrade.
     uuhh... thats kinda it.

Cons for keeping it as is:
 - I'll have to fix up the plot holes.
 - I'll have to keep my motivation up to even finish it.
 - I'll have to work with an unstable plot

Pros for keeping it as is:
 - there'll be no more whining from me
 - I can use the plot I already have scripted out.
 - Yall get to see the story everyone's apparently invested in.
 - I won't have to re-write the entire book, or lore.
               (something which I do constantly anyway)
 - Yall won't get confused between the Old and New MR.

Pros of re-writing:
 - I can ignore everything I built up that is not needed.
 - I can make it so character relations are more solid, and maybe include more characters this way.
 - the story will actually be a slow incline instead of an immediate jump. (_ ⁄ ¯ instead of _|¯)
 - Abeory will actually be planned from the start, or scrapped entirely. 
 - Things will hopefully just make more sense
 - My motivation might be back! 

         I'll plan it out from the start. Make sure everything's in place before starting. this way, I won't screw up again.
