Readers POV

Me and Ruby have always had a good relationship till a month in a half ago we never had a label on us but everyone knew we were exclusive fans, friends, family, everyone.

But she left for New York a day after her birthday and I haven't heard from her since no reply's to my calls, texts, or snaps. And I have absolutely no idea why she would basically just ghost me out of the blue.

I had plans today but I didn't feel like going I don't wanna get up and go pretend to be happy when all I feel is heart break.

But I did I got up I went and ran my errands. I ignored every text or call from McKenna and Malia. I went back home and sat on my couch with my dog w a bottle of tequila but it's sad to drink alone but the girl who would drink w me is MIA.

I scrolled thru my contacts thinking of someone to call but no one compares to her so I just kept drinking by myself in my apartment well not entirely by myself my dog Hudson is here too.

Around 8:30pm I'm six drinks in and with no food so it hit me really fast. I was just on my phone scrolling on TikTok when there was a knock at my door I groaned getting up off my couch stumbling to the door.

I looked at myself in the mirror that's next to my front door to make sure I don't look too drunk then I opened the door.

"Hello-" I stoped and pause to see who's standing in front of me. The tall blond that I love but stuff was different about her this time her hair, clothes, but her aura it all seemed different about her.

"Hi y/n" "where have you been?" Is all that I could say I wanted my answers why she wanted to just leave out of the blue.

"Y/n let me explain-" "no please explain why u just get up and leave one random day that's suppose  to be for three days turns into a month and a half like what is that Ruby." I said crossing my arm leaning on the door frame.

"I just needed space." "Yeah well when u need space you say smt you don't just- just disappear." "Can I come inside to explain, please?"

I contemplated for a second "fine, close the door." I said turning walking back into my apartment.
