So, they got the hell out of there.

Pip didn't know what to expect from Damien, he seemed very blunt. Pip didn't know if he liked that yet.

Pip was walking on the sidewalk, next to Damien then he finally spoke up, "What do we even do? I mean, we left for no reason."

Damein shrugged, "I dunno. I need to be back home soon though. I have to feed my pet."

"What kind of pet is it?" Pip asked, turning to Damein.

"A shark. He can wait though," Damein said plainly.

Pip almost stopped walking, almost in shock, "I- Isn't that illegal..?" Pip asked.

Damien shrugged, not seeming to care much at all, "Probably."

Okay, so this kid was probably crazy.

Pip knew he had two options now: keep hanging out with this absolutely batshit crazy kid, or make up some excuse to leave.

Pip isn't stupid, so he makes the logical choice.

"So," Pip begins, "Where to?" he questioned.

Damien shrugged, "Wherever you want," he said, "I'm not even familiar with the town."

Pip nodded, "We should probably go back, it's getting late," Pip remarked, looking at the setting sun.

"Don't be such a loser. Or whatever British word they have for that... Your sister won't even care if you aren't home, anyway," Damien said.

What Pip should've done was to point out how Damien even knew about his sister, but instead, he said this, "I know I'm a loser. You hang out with a group of losers! For all I know, you could be the antichrist or something!"

Damien stopped walking, and turned back to Pip, "Me? Antichrist? I didn't know you were a practicing comedian, Pip," Damien said, brushing Pip's comment off.

Pip huffed, "I'm going home," Pip said, turning to walk away from Damien.

That obviously did something, because within seconds, Damien was back, "Awe, don't be like that, Pip. I'm sorry if I upset you. I know, I'm kind of being a dick, or 'wanker' in your speak, but seriously, I like being with you," Damien said, seeming a little vulnerable at the moment.

Pip turned back to look at Damien, his gaze on Damien softening slightly, "I'll see you tomorrow, Damien," Pip said, waving slightly at the shorter male, as he began to walk off again.
