Today was a good day.

Really good.

Pip was going to see Damien today!

Damien said the he and Pip needed to talk. Pip knew it probably wasn't good, but like every argument they had, nothing would actually change.

They would stay together, and they would be happy.

Maybe not happy, but satisfied.

So, Pip went to Damien's house on Saturday. His door was unlocked, per usual. He was upstairs in his room with his door shut. Pip was practically shaking from how nervous he was. It would be nice if he didn't have an ache in his stomach.

So, he opened the door, and there he was. He wasn't on his phone, like usual. He was at his desk, scribbling something down. It wasn't unusual... it actually was. Really unusual.

Pip didn't shut Damien's door, he knew better.

Damien turned to Pip looking unamused. He's done something wrong hasn't he?

Damien spoke first, like always, "Pip, I wanna talk about things."

Talk about things. What does that even mean? "What does that even mean?" Pip asked, almost as if he was looking for the joke, or he didn't see the humor in the joke at all.

"You know what I mean," Pip doesn't know at all but Damien speaks as if they do.

Pip folded his arms as he shifted his weight on one leg, he just needed to see what Damien could possibly be yammering about, "Oh really? Because I haven't talked to you since Thursday."

"That is my issue!" Damien fussed back at Pip, "It feels like you aren't exerting as much effort in this relationship as me..."

Pip stood idly at that, it was strange for Damien to feel anything significant towards Pip or his actions, "Since when do you even care about how much effort I put into us. You barely put any effort in aswell!" Pip countered. It was true, Damien didn't seem to care when he asked Pip to be his boyfriend, or even when they actually hung out. Damien would just nod along and be on his phone.

Damien went quiet at that, "Well, if it bothered you that much, you should have said something! It isn't my fault you felt that way," He argued, or tried to.

Pip shrugged, "Then, it isn't my fault that you feel like I'm being indifferent. I don't know why it matters anyway, I've just been having a busy week. You know with work and all."

Damien crossed his arms as Pip even explained why he was so distant seeming, work was grueling, and left no time for Damien. Pip couldn't help that at all, but Damien didn't seem to care much.

"Pip, I think we should break up," Damien said flatly, looking neutral as ever.

Pip hushed up quick, "Are you serious?" Pip didn't even seem to care that much either, mostly because in the next 48 hours, him and Damien would be back together.

Damien looked away, "I'm asking you to leave, Pip," Damien responded simply.

Pip furrowed his eyebrows, and just turned and left, instead of just going home, Pip needed to take a walk. He did just needed to think..

He depressed and stressed, and he's feeling blue, so this walk was the best thing to do besides hanging himself.

He thought about things for a while. He felt sad, like always. This time, it hurt more than usual. That bothered him.

This time he felt the villain. Nobody was truly right in this situation. They were both losers who didnt know or want to communicate, but Pip was probably gonna go crawling back to Damien.

Per usual.

Maybe, this next time will be different.
