Nobody's POV:
"Anyways," Alexis says while grabbing a gun from her belt and shooting a zombie running to her while looking in the other direction. "Let's get Jack patched up."
They walk to the car while Zach and Agent White Star carry Jack. Alexis opens the back doors and puts a pillow down on the end of the seat. White Star secretly hovers Jack over the seat and lays him down. Alexis sees this but doesn't have time to process it. White Star sits in the back and grabs the medkit. She opens it and grabs some bandages to patch up Jack. Zach and Alexis sit in the front, Zach at the wheel and Alexis in the passenger seat. Zach drives back to the base while Alexis nervously looks out the window. White Star lifts up Jack's shirt to see the wounds and scratches on his side and torso.
He's handsome... ugh stop, I just have to patch him up. White Star thinks to herself while grabbing the bandages and putting it on him, her face a little pink.
She grabs some stitches and a needle and starts to stitch him up.
"Ouch!" He says and tenses up.
Sh- "S-sorry." She says and her face turns more pink.
She finishes stitching him up and wrap bandages around his ribs. She then puts everything back into the med kit and puts it away.
"Y'know it's just a few cuts, I'll be fine," Jack says, sitting up.
"Just a few? Yeah sure it's only a few, and we'll just forget about your previous cuts and scars on your torso and arms." She says sarcastically.
Jack sits in silence for a moment, "It'll heal though, right?"
"Yes, at some point." She says, looking out the window.
Zach looks at Alexis and hands her his ring.
You do realize that White Star likes Jack right? Zach thinks. Alexis just stares at him.
Ey, don't look at me like that. I just heard her thoughts, not my fault.
Alexis sighs and hands back his ring.
"Hey, we're here." Zach says to them.
The gate opens and Zach parks the car in the garage. He and Alexis get out first and open the backseat door to let Jack and White Star out. Jack gets out of the car, holding his side and ribs with his arm. White Star runs over to him to help him walk to the compound. Zach grabs Alexis and brings her to the locker room near the kitchen.
"Wha–"
"We need to do something about Micheal," He says, standing over her.
"Uhm, yes but... why are you standing over me like that?" She puts her hand over her mouth and chuckles a bit.
"Oh, sorry. But look, anyway, what are we going to do about him?"
"Well, we'll wait a bit. Wait until he screws up and we'll expose him."
"How?"
"Well he did get a little mad when we brought the children here. What if we bring a child to ask him what he's doing here?"
"Will the child be okay?" He asks, raising an eyebrow.
"Yes, I'll ask one of the older kids to do it."
He nods and they both walk out.
White Star overhears and thinks to herself, Hm, expose him? Kids? Hm...
She puts her hand over her necklace and shapeshifts into a small 12 year old girl. She then walks upstairs into the second floor and waits in the first bedroom, closest to the stairs.
"...I'll go ask a kid now," Alexis says to Zach.
She walks to the first bedroom and asks 'The 12 year old girl' the question, "Hey little girl, would you like to help us with something? I'll give you some candy for it."
She nods.
Alexis reaches her hand out and holds her by the arm, bringing her to Micheal.
"You see that guy? Ask him if he knows anything about any plans for the future."
She nods and walks to him.
"Sir?"
Micheal looks back and down to see a small child looking at him.
Ugh. I hate kids. He thinks to himself, rolling his eyes. "Yes?"
"What are you working on there?"
"Oh just some plans for the future."
"Like what?"
"Well, I was thinking I could rebuild this place." And take over...
"Ooo. Also what's that flashy thingy in the closet?" She points to a katana hanging on the katana stand.
"Oh, that's just one of my swords. I use katanas for fighting and stuff."
"Oh okay", she sees that Alexis is calling her back, behind Micheal. "Well I have to go now. One of my friends is calling me. Nice talking with you sir!"
He nods.
She leaves the room and goes back to the bedroom. He shuts the office doors and closes the closet.
"What did he say?" Alexis asks.
"He says he wants to rebuild the place. Also he had this flashy cool looking sword in his closet."
Alexis thinks for a moment, "Well, thank you child."
She smiles and nods, "I'm going to take a nap now, I'm tired."
"Sleep well little one." Alexis says while taking a piece of candy out of her pocket and placing it on the desk, leaving the room.
"I overheard your conversation. And I read his mind too. Micheal doesn't only want to rebuild the place..."
"What else does he want to do?... Zach, what does he want to do?"
"He wants to take over our clan."
