Alexis' POV:
In the morning, I wake up alone in my room and I sit up. I see clothes laid out on the table for me with a note saying, "I picked out some clothes for you, I don't know how to style women's clothes, but I tried. From, Zach."
Very nice of him to do that. Oh shoot, the time. I think to myself while looking at my watch.
I quickly get dressed and I walk to the stairs, i see my brother.
"Hey brother!" I say, running to him and hugging him.
"Hey, how'd you sleep?"
"U-uh..." I look at Zach for a second, "I slept well, what about you? Did you actually sleep?"
"I did sleep for once, I slept for around two to three hours."
"Oh nice!" I look at Zach again but with a stare and confused look. Zach, what are you thinking of right now? And why are you looking at me like that?
Zach takes off his ring and puts it on my ring finger. He thinks to himself, and I read his mind, Thinking about you... and your annoying brother.
I give the ring back to him, oh...
My thoughts are interrupted by my brother, "Hey I'm going out for a bit, I'll be back late."
"Bye brother! Be safe!!!"
He nods his head and walks to the back gate since the front is blocked by thousands of zombies.
Zach, follow me. We're going to follow my brother.
He nods without question and we both follow Jack silently. We see that Jack is getting in a car, so we get into a car and continue to follow him.
Is that the city...? I think to myself.
Nobody's POV:
After a while of driving, Jack stopped the car, parking behind a big bush to hide. He gets out of the car, wrapping bandages around his hands with his axe floating in the air following him. Alexis and Zach get out of the car, and they follow Jack into an abandoned building. The building had broken bricks and windows, and one side of the building has a sign that says "Revenge".
Is that sign made out of blood?! Alexis thinks to herself, eyes widened.
They both walk inside the building and Alexis puts on black fingerless gloves and she pulls her black hood over her head. Zach does the same; he pulls his hood over his head and zips up his jacket. They see that Jack grabs his axe and goes to talk to someone. After their conversation, they both shake hands, and he walks into another room. Zach and Alexis follow him, and they both see that he's in a room that looks like a fighting ring.
"Are you two interested in fighting today?" Some person says to them.
"Uh–" she thinks for a minute, "Yes, yes we are."
"Ok, follow me and I'll get you two ready to fight."
They both follow the person, and they end up in a locker room.
"Here's some bandages for your hands, and also, do you two have any special items to use in fighting?"
"Yes, we do, I have a bracelet, and he has a ring."
"What do they do?" The person asks.
She pauses for a moment, "I don't know the full capacity of the powers it has, but from what I know, I can use telekinesis and summon things out of thin air."
