As the evening sun cast a warm glow over the room, Ishu lay in his bed, his face a picture of sulky discontent. Despite the excitement of being discharged from the hospital, he was frustrated by the strict instructions to rest and avoid exerting himself. Yuvraj had arranged everything according to Ishu's liking, but even that couldn't lift his spirits. Aarav's condition for discharge had been clear: no stress, plenty of rest, and absolutely no overexertion.Aaron, the rambunctious pup, had grown into a robust dog, and he took his job as Ishu's guardian very seriously. He lay by Ishu's bedside, his eyes fixed intently on his master, ready to sound the alarm at the slightest sign of movement. Ishu tried to reason with him, "Aaron tu theek nhi kr raha hai.. mein tera favourite hu na.. aur tu mere saath hi aisa kr rha hai." Aaron cocked his head, his ears twitching as if he understood Ishu's words.
Ishu's frustration boiled over, and he tried to swing his legs over the side of the bed, but Aaron was having none of it. The dog let out a fierce growl, baring his teeth in a warning. Ishu tried to placate him, "Theek hu mein ab mujhe atleast pair toh neeche rakhne de aise baithe baithe bore ho gya hu." But Aaron was resolute, and Ishu's attempt to step down from the bed was met with another angry growl.
"Don't show me your damn growing teeth I'm not scared of you"He almost stepped down from bed avoiding Aaron's groan but suddenly felt a black out....
Just as Ishu was about to lose his balance, Abhi appeared out of nowhere, catching him and helping him sit back down. "Kya kr rha hai tu Ishu dimaag kharab ho gaya hai kya tera?" Abhi scolded, his voice firm but laced with concern. Aaron, still agitated, let out another bark, as if complaining about Ishu's reckless behavior. Ishu looked sheepish, his face flushed with embarrassment, as Abhi and Aaron both glared at him, united in their disapproval...
""Smjh nhi aa rha hai tujhe...kuch chaiye toh mujhe bta," Abhi said, his voice laced with a mix of anger and concern for his best friend. Ishu's frustration was palpable, and Abhi's worry for him was evident in the furrowed lines on his forehead. Ishu's complaint poured out in a rush, "Bore ho gya yaar mein idhar baithe baithe...it's my damn birthday...per mujhe kaidi jaisa feel ho rha hai...mujhe neeche jaana hai sbke pass." His words were tinged with a hint of desperation, his eyes pleading for understanding.
Abhi tried to intervene, "Ishu," but Ishu cut him off, his emotions simmering just below the surface. "Don't Ishu me...mujhe neeche jaana hai yaar...and where the hell is dada...sb aake milke gye mujhse but he's not where to be seen...na hospital mein na Ghar mein." Ishu's voice cracked, and he struggled to maintain his composure. The memory of that haunting dream still lingered, refusing to be erased from his mind. Abhi's eyes narrowed, sensing that something was amiss, but Ishu's emotions were a jumbled mess, and he couldn't quite put his finger on what was troubling his friend.
They were currently at the Kapoor mansion, courtesy of Rishi's insistence. Yuvraj had acquiesced to the request without fuss, and Ishu couldn't help but wonder if there was more to it than met the eye. Abhi attempted to reassure him, "He must have some important work isiliye," but Ishu's response was laced with a hint of sadness. "Kya humse bhi zyada important hai kuch unke liye." The thought of Abhay with Ruhaan somewhere, without him, was a painful one, and Ishu's heart ached with a mix of emotions.... Though he desperately tried to shake off the lingering emotions, Ishu couldn't help but feel a creeping sense of unease. The dream he had, with its eerie, blurry voices, continued to haunt him, refusing to be erased from his mind. The voices, though indistinct and unrecognizable, had left an unsettling impression on him. They seemed to be whispering ominous warnings, hinting at a future where Abhay would be absent from their lives.
