Susan's POV
This was one amazing trip. Literally, we hanged out a lot, discovered this city, shopped a LOT and the late night sneak outs can never be forgotten. In the end, it was hella fun. Tomorrow was the day, we had to go back. But actually, none of us wanted to. I mean, all those boring lectures, assignments and long practicals.
'Have you packed everything? I mean, we are gonna leave in the morning..' He asked. 'Yea. I'm done. Wbu?' He just nodded. Right now, it was 2am. Every body was sleeping and it was dead silence but sleep was nowhere near us. I was lying on my bed and he had come here in my room just because he couldn't sleep. Awesome!!
All of a sudden, he came near me and picked me up. One of his hands was under my legs and the other one slipped under my back. 'What are you doing, Shaheer?' I shouted at him. He immediately blocked my mouth by his hand for me to stop shouting.
'Calm your horses, girl. Shush, now.' I still didn't stop and before he could say anything I bit his finger. 'AAHHHHH.' He said. Huhn, got my revenge!
I couldn't help myself and broke into guffaws as he was wincing in pain. 'What? Are you freaking nuts?' I sticked out my tongue at him. He then again picked me and took me out in the backyard. It was not a backyard to be exact but it was a garden at the back of the building. This time, I let him take me.
He let me go as we reached that place and we lied down on the grass. I remembered the scene of FIOUS in which Gus and Hazel lied down together just like this. I didn't ever expect me to have such a moment in my life. It was so peaceful here. This silence. It was so soothing, so relaxing unlike the awkward silence we always have in between us. But to think of it, we have nothing in between us. We are lying together but it's plain. He has no feelings for me and never will. I mean, our circumstances are different too and I guess being in a relationship with him is impossible. He is just being friendly and I think of it as something 'special.' No. I'll never be clingy and I should just erase these silly thoughts off my mind.
'Sue..sue..!' 'Uh..Yea?'
'I'm talking to you from the past 5 minutes. What are you thinking?' He said.
'Sorry Shaheer, just spaced out.'He didn't say anything so I spoke, 'What were you saying by the way?'
'Nothing. It was just that, these stars, the sky it looks so angelic.' 'And by the way, SK suits me more.' He winked.
Come to think of it, I didn't even once look at the sky as I was so messed up fighting my feelings. I should just stop thinking about it for a moment. I then cheerfully replied, 'Yeah. The sky. It looks so heavenly beautiful. Utter perfection.'
'Yeah. There is no difference in you and the sky.' For a minute, I didn't realize what he said. But when I did, I couldn't believe it. I gulped visibly and stared at him. And bam!! He started laughing hysterically. 'Very funny. You don't even know how to say cheesy dialougues.' I said.
He still didn't get over from his fits of laughter. He replied while laughing, 'Oh really? You should have looked at your face. For a minute you thought I was serious.' I just rolled my eyes at him and looked at the sky again.
'Hey..Look at me.' 'I'm not interested to see your disgusting face.' I teased him. He just remained quiet. I could feel him staring at me directly. I peeked at him with a creepy face. And he, all of a sudden, straightened himself and looked at the sky. Creepy.
