"Meeting in Studio A. Final announcements about group details."

Han glanced at the screen, reading over my shoulder. "Guess this is it," he said with a soft smile, stepping back to give me space.

"Yeah." I cleared my throat, my voice shakier than I wanted it to be. "I should go."

He nodded, but before I could walk away, he grabbed my hand. "Y/N?"

I turned, my heart flipping at the way he looked at me—like I was the only person in the world. "Good luck," he said, squeezing my hand.

With a deep breath, I headed to Studio A, where the other girls were already gathered. Jiwon and Yoojin waved me over, their faces filled with excitement and nerves.

JYP stood at the front of the room, a clipboard in hand. "Congratulations to all of you," he began, his voice steady and commanding. "You've worked hard, and now it's time to reveal your positions and the concept of this group."

The air was thick with anticipation as he began calling out names.

"Yoojin," he said, looking up from his clipboard. "You'll be the leader. Your charisma and ability to hold the group together make you the natural choice."

Yoojin's jaw dropped in shock, and I reached over to squeeze her hand, grinning.

"Jiwon, you'll be our main vocalist," JYP continued. "Your vocal range and energy are unmatched."

Jiwon beamed, and I couldn't help but feel proud of her.

JYP's gaze shifted to me, his tone steady and deliberate. "Y/N, your skills as a dancer are undeniable. Your choreography ideas have been fresh, creative, and perfectly aligned with what this group needs. Because of this, you'll take the role of the lead dancer and be involved in shaping the choreography for the group."

A rush of pride coursed through me. Dancing had always been my first love, and the idea of being trusted to help craft the group's visual identity made my chest swell with determination.

"Of course," he continued, "this role comes with responsibility. You'll need to collaborate closely with the other members and the choreographers we bring in. Your technical precision and ability to tell a story through movement will set the tone for what we're trying to achieve."

I nodded, the weight of the role settling on my shoulders—but it wasn't a burden. It was an honor.

The room buzzed with murmurs of approval, but all I could focus on was the sense of pride swelling in my chest.

"The concept for this group," JYP said, addressing all of us now, "is edgy and empowering. We're going to push boundaries, combining sharp choreography, bold visuals, and strong vocals to create something unforgettable. We want you to represent a new age for females all around the world, empowering one another. This-," he paused momentarily "is another reason why Yuna was not chosen for this group. She would have been a hypocrisy and we couldn't have that. I expect you all to take two days to gather yourselves before we start training you all vigorously for your debut."

The weight of the day's announcements finally hit me as I walked into my apartment, the door clicking shut behind me.

I was exhausted. My body ached from the rehearsals and the constant pressure of not knowing where I stood. But now—now I knew.

I kicked off my sneakers and sank into the couch with a heavy sigh. The apartment felt emptier than usual, but I didn't mind. After the whirlwind of the past few days, a little peace and quiet was exactly what I needed.

My phone buzzed on the coffee table, and I glanced at it. A text from Han popped up.

"Want some company?"

I smiled to myself. It had only been a few hours since we were in the practice room, but I found myself craving his presence, his calm.

"Always. Come over whenever you're free."

The reply came quickly.

"On my way."

I leaned back, closing my eyes for a moment. The quiet of the room, the faint sounds of the city outside, all helped to ground me. It wasn't long before the doorbell rang, and my heart skipped in anticipation.
