The staff gestured for Jiwon to join me, and I instantly felt a wave of relief. If anyone could help me survive this, it was her.

The song began—a high-energy track with a heavy beat. Jiwon and I exchanged a quick glance, silently communicating a plan.

"Follow my lead," she mouthed, stepping forward with confidence.

I mirrored her movements, relying on instincts and trust as we moved in sync. The routine wasn't perfect, but we sold it with energy and charisma.

When the track ended, I was breathless but grinning. The room erupted in applause, even from the trainees watching from the back.

"Well done," JYP said. "That'll be all for now. Thank you, Y/N."

I bowed again, gratitude spilling from me as I turned to leave. As I walked past the Stray Kids members, Han gave me a discreet thumbs-up, mouthing, "You killed it."

I smiled back, feeling a renewed sense of confidence. Tomorrow would decide everything, but for now, I was proud of how far I'd come.

The moment I stepped out of the audition room, I felt a wave of exhaustion hit me, but it was overpowered by relief. Jiwon and Yoojin were waiting for me, their expressions a mix of anxiety and excitement.

"Well? How'd it go?" Yoojin asked, practically bouncing on her toes.

"It was...intense," I admitted, but I couldn't stop the grin spreading across my face. "But I think it went well."

"You think?" Jiwon teased, raising an eyebrow. "You always underestimate yourself. I bet you crushed it."

I shrugged, trying to play it cool, but the warmth in their encouragement settled my nerves.

Before we could chat more, a staff member poked their head into the practice room. "All trainees, please return to the main hall. The results will be announced shortly."

"Already?" Yoojin asked, her voice tinged with disbelief.

"Guess they're not wasting any time," Jiwon said, nudging us toward the door.

The walk to the main hall felt longer than it actually was. My thoughts raced, replaying every detail of my performance. Did I hit the high note in The Girls with enough power? Was my footwork sharp enough during Maestro?

When we entered the hall, the atmosphere was heavy with anticipation. Rows of chairs were filled with trainees, all wearing the same hopeful yet nervous expressions. JYP stood at the front, flanked by ITZY, Stray Kids, and other staff members.

"Thank you all for your efforts today," JYP began, his tone calm but serious. "We've seen incredible talent and dedication. However, this is only the beginning. For those who move forward today, your journey will intensify. For those who don't, remember that this is not the end but a step forward."

The room fell silent as he opened a folder and began reading names.

"Jiwon."

Jiwon exhaled sharply, her face lighting up as she stood and walked to the front.

"Minseo."

I squeezed her hand briefly before she stood, giving me a reassuring smile as she joined Jiwon.

"Yoojin."

A girl from the other practice group stood, her hands trembling slightly as she walked forward.

"Taeyoung."

"Harin."

As the names continued, my nerves grew. Six trainees had already been called. What if this was it for me?
