Just as I had fallen asleep I felt my phone vibrating in Johnnies pocket. He got it out as I stretched. He handed it to me.

"Hello?" I answered with a groggy voice.

"Hello is this Arianne Brock?" I could tell it was that very weird receptionist at my daughter's school.

"Yeah this is her, has something happened?" I ask getting up and pacing the room.

"Kind of. We have Corvina- Vina here and she has vomited twice today. We would like you to collect her whenever it's possible." 

"Yeah, yeah I'm on my way." I yawn.

"Okay great bye." She hung up.

"What's up? Is Vina okay?" Johnnie asked.

"She threw up twice today in school come on." I drag him with me and down the stairs.

I quickly put on my shoes and my jacket and Johnnie and I left. I drove to the school, trying to get there as fast as possible.

"It's okay Aria, we will get there just relax right now." Johnnie caressed my thigh.

"I know but I can't have her waiting at this school, not to mention she's sick. I just feel really bad." I quickly pull into the parking lot and Johnnie and I step out.

I clutch on to his arm as we walk into the school. We waited a few seconds before someone who I didn't recognise came to speak to us.

"Hello, are you two Vinas parents?" She asked.

"Yeah that's us." I agree not willing to correct her.

"Could you follow us, this is urgent." She rushed us towards the bathrooms and I look over at Johnnie fear washing over me.

We walk inside, seeing Vina passed out.

"Oh my god! What happened?" I ask as I crouch down on my knees, Johnnie doing the same.

"She told us she needed to use the bathroom again and when she came in she just collapsed!" The woman explained.

"Have you called paramedics?" Johnnie asks as he helps me lift her head up onto my lap.

"Yeah, they should be here now." The other old woman came to our side.

"Right this way!" I heard a faint voice in the distance.

All our heads whip up to see a few paramedics enter this bathroom.

"Hello ma'am. I'm Doctor Barnett, could everyone just step back please." The woman doctor asked.

Johnnie stayed by my side, not leaving as the three of them crouch down to examine Vina.

"Get the stretcher in here Doctor Aliko." Doctor Barnett told the man who quickly brought it in.

She lifted Vina off me and put her onto the stretcher. We rushed out following them as they carried her out to the ambulance.

I sighed, tears filling my eyes.

(Time skip)

"Arianne, go home with Johnnie. Me and Jake will stay with Vina. You two deserve some alone time!" Tara winked at me.

"Are you sure? I don't want to force you to stay." I sighed.

"You wouldn't be forcing us if we asked to?" Jake put a hand on Tara's shoulder.

"Yeah, we would be more than happy to stay. You know how much we love her!" Tara agreed with Jake.

"You're right. I owe so much to you two. I love you guys, come on Johnnie."
