Later that afternoon, Aaryan, Rishi and Pradeep returned from the bakery with the cake, a three tier cake decorated with baby-blue frosting and little edible stars. They placed it carefully on the table placed on the stage, proud of their safe delivery.
Aaryan: "Super daa Macha."
He muttered to them, just as Devansh crawled into the stage. The little boy spotted the cake and squealed with delight. Slowly he stood up with the help of the table and his tiny hands reaching for it.
Aaryan: "No no no no!"
Aaryan swooped in, picking him up.
Aaryan: "Good try, but sorry. Athu unakku birthday ikku cut pandrathukku velayadurathukku illa da magane."
Devansh pouted, his big eyes locking onto the cake. Aaryan sighed.
Aaryan: "Okay, moonja appidi vakkatha da. Amma vum pullaum ippidiye enna kavuthidu."
He grabbed a small spoon and scooped a tiny bit of frosting, offering it to Devansh.
The baby's face lit up as he tasted the sweet treat, his giggles filling the room. Rishi and Pradeep stood at their in aww enjoying the little human's happiness.
Samridhi walked in just then, narrowing her eyes.
Samridhi: "Avan innum yethum sapda kooda illa athaan, avanukku poii cream kudukkura. Paaru avan lunch sapda mattennu adam pudicha nee thaan paathukkanum."
Aaryan froze, caught red-handed. He looked at his cousins for help. But just as in time they moved away from there like discussing something important with each other.
Aaryan: "Uh... Maa neeye paaru maa, eppidi maa indha moonja paathu no innu solrathu?"
Samridhi: "No innu solla vendiya time illa no innu solli thaa avanum."
Samridhi tried to keep a straight face but ended up laughing seeing the pouted face of the father and son duo.
Samridhi: "Appanum seri thaa pulla um seri thaan."

The Birthday Party
As guests arrived, the house transformed into a lively hub of laughter and chatter. Friends and family gathered around Devansh, showering him with love and gifts. The little boy was the star of the show, sitting proudly in his high chair wearing a tiny crown that read Birthday Boy.
Aaryan and Samridhi stood nearby, watching their son with pride.
Samridhi: "Oru vayyasu aayidichu athaan, Evalo seerkam valaruran avan. Enakku avana neethu thaa kayyilla vangina maari irukku, aana athukkulla one year aayidichu."
Aaryan wrapped an arm around her.
Aaryan: "Enakku avan ammave neethu thaan kayyilla vangina maari irukku. Avan unna maari thaa seekram valaruran."
