It's the day before Sachin's birth

(Samridhi was sitting beside Illavarasi and watching his little brother who has her little fingers inside his tiny fist. She was closely watching his eyes, toes, hair, face, etc.... Chithra and Illavarasi were conversing between themselves about the atrocities of kids in the house.)

Chithra: "Nee Badri yaa gwanichiya?"

Illavarasi: "Ellam paathittu thaan irukken."

Chithra: "Yen pullakku naa support pannama yaaru pannuvan? Avanukku mattum illa un marumaganukkum pannuven?"

Illavarasi: (She looked at her doubtfully) "Nee endha meaning illa solren?"

Chithra: "Unakku enna thonnutho athu thaan. Dho paaru un ponnu yen payyanukku thaa. Neeye venannu sonnalum naa kelkka matten paa."

Illavarasi: "Indha vishayathilla enakku therinju yen ponne yen peachu kelkka mattanga."

Chithra: "Athu ennavo unma thaa."

(They women turned back to the door, when they heard a running sound approaching them. They saw Aaryan who was grinning at them, while hiding something behind him.)

Illavarasi: "Kayyilla ennada vachirukka?"

Aaryan: "Athu papa ikku."

Chithra: "Papa vara innum oru vaaram aagum daa."

Aaryan: (Shook his head) "Ridhi papa ikku." (Chithra Scrunched her nose, while Illavarasi chuckled.) "Papa.." (Samridhi slowly turned back to look at him.)

Samridhi: "Enna athaan?"

Aaryan: "Naa unakku oru gift eduthittu vandhu irukken!!"

Samridhi: (Her eyes started to shine with happiness and excitement.) "Giftaa?!! Enga kaattu."

(Aaryan slowly moved his hands to his front revealing a toy camera, which was made up of wooden sheets or planks.)
