Isabella moved around the kitchen cooking dinner for everyone. She was making spaghetti with vegan meatballs and garlic bread.
"That smells good." Vicky smiled walking in the kitchen. Isabella looked at her over her shoulder "Thanks" Isabella nodded towards the fridge "I got your blood in the fridge for you."
Vicky is on a one blood bag day. With the bracelet and the one bag a day, Vicky is gaining control quicker than any of them thought. "So, how's school going?" Vicky asked leaning against the counter.
Isabella shrugged "It's good. Classes suck, but..." Vicky laughed at that. Isabella has never been one for school. "Though that new teacher, she's covered in dark magic." Isabella started moving the spaghetti into the homemade sauce.
Vicky looked at her concerned "Are you guys going to do anything?" She didn't want them getting involved in anything supernatural. They left home because of the supernatural, she didn't want Jeremy and Isabella to jump back into danger.
"Nothing"
Vicky breathe a sigh of relief "Good." She threw away the empty bag "What you making?"
"Home made spaghetti with vegan meatballs and garlic bread" Isabella started dropping the meatballs in "Can I ask you something?"
"Sure."
"How would you feel if you meet your mate but he isn't immortal?" Isabella asked mixing everything together.
Vicky stopped in her texting and looked at her little sister "Have you meet your mate?" Isabella silently nodded "Hmm, I would get to know them. See who they are, really. Sure I would fear if they didn't want to be turned, but remember, we are given mates for a reason. I'm not so sure mother nature would mess that up."
Isabella sighed as she turned off the stove "I know. I just... he's a wolf, you know? I doubt he ever thought about immortality" she started gathering plates and cups moving to the table "How could I ask him to be immortal and leave everything behind. How could I even begin to tell him that I'm worth that."
"You don't."
Isabella looked at Vicky confused "What do you mean I don't?" She asked with a scoff.
Vicky shrugged grabbing the two liter of soda and filling the cups "You don't tell your mate your worth it. You show him. Show him why Mother Nature paired you two together. Show him why he should take immorality."
Isabella set down the last plate, and rested on one hand "You really think that'll work?"
"I think once he sees how incredible, kind, smart, loving girl that is standing in front of him, he will understand. Bella you are one of the best kids I know around, even after everything I've tried to do, you still helped me. If that doesn't show the kind of person you are then nothing will." Vicky stated laying a hand on her shoulder.
Isabella smiled shyly "Thanks Vic."
"No problem Isa"
The two shared a hug just as Jeremy came in "Oh, dinner done?" He asked.
The two pulled away "Yeah." Isabella nodded, and moved to start plating the food as Jeremy called Jenna and Matt down. Maybe Vicky was right, she had to give Boyd a chance. Show him why she was his mate, show him that she was worth immortality.
