"Jonathan?" Clary suggested.

"I know you're remembering who was supposed to be your brother, but no way. That name reminds me of to many bad things." Argued Jace.

"Yeah. You're right. We just have nowhere to start from." Clary said as she sighed.

"We do actually. Number one, my great, great whatever is still alive and we could get family names for her. Number two, I heard that Tessa and Will named their first child after Will's parabatai. It is more complicated than that because of Tessa's engagement to Jem, but we could do that?" Suggested Jace.

"That is a good idea." Clary said.

"Which one?" Asked Jace.

"The second one. Do you know if anyone else in your family did that?" Clary asked.

"I think so." Jace said.

"Then let's do that." Clary said.

"Okay," agreed Jace. "What about a middle name?"

"Hmmmm..." Both of them sat thinking. "How about James?" Tessa suggested.

"Alexander James Herondale. I like it." Jace agreed.

"Great we finally have one name." Clary smiled at Jace affectionately. "Now a girls name."

"Isabelle. Keep following parabatai." Jace suggested.

"No. We should do something different." Clary said.

"Rainbow Sparkles." Jace joked. "That's different."

Clary slapped him. "Come on be serious."

"Fine." He said

"When I was little one of my friends names was Annabelle. I always wished I could change my name to that." Clary said.

"I'm happy you didn't." Jace said. He leaned in and kissed Clary on the cheek.

"Okay. So Annabelle Grace Herondale. Sound good?" Clary asked.

"It sounds amazing." Jace said.

"Great." Clary said. She leaned into Jace and laid her head on his chest. They sat together watching the fore die down. Finally they both drifted off to sleep.
