It wasn't long before everyone else rushed into the closet, squeezing themselves through the crowd in order to get a glance at Yuki's corpse and confirm for themselves that the impossible had happened yet again.

Another killing had taken place in Monocavy's sick game. But this one wasn't carried out by a student. It was an extrajudicial murder executed by Michiru, designed specifically to send me a message.

"Get others involved in our feud, and this is what will happen to them."

A feverish chill ran down my entire body as my classmates all began to react to what they just saw.

Chaos: ...!!!

Chaos: I... I can't believe it...!

Insert fell to his knees.

But wasn't Michi the killer...?

I faced the crowd to look at her, and she glanced back at me with a blank expression.

She doesn't look at all nervous... and Monocavy wouldn't take this to a trial if she really was the killer. So it has to be someone else...?

But who else would have the motive to do something like this?

And make the murder so gruesome, to boot...

My thoughts were rudely interrupted by the screeches of the stuffed guinea pig.

Monocavy: Ooh-la-la! Looks like one of you guys went totally berserk! Lemme see the carnage for myself, puhuhu!

Monocavy shoved all of us aside and stepped inside the closet where Yuki's corpse lay.

Monocavy: PWA-HAHAHAHAHA! I don't give out extra points for brutalizing people, y'know! Goddamn! You didn't need to do her like this, pal, sheeeeeeeeeeesh! But I guess you just did it for the love of the game, huh? Can't say I blame you.

Chaos: ...

Chaos: Why are you here, Monocavy?

Monocavy: To gawk at the body, of course. Oh, and I wanted to give you this.

Monocavy tossed a small tablet into Chaos' hands, then put his paws up to his mouth.

Monocavy: You know what time it is now, don't you, class? Better start investigating, or you'll end up just like poor little miss Yuki! Puhuhu!
