*TRIGGER WARNING FOR THE CHAPTER; MENTION OF VIRUS THAT MIRRORS COVID-19, LOCKDOWNS AND PANDEMIC PANIC"
Happy New Year!!! May 2025 be the year you all want and need with health, calmness and happiness! I wanted to upload in December but the holidays went by so fast because my family and I were cooking and baking, cleaning and visiting some family in my dad's village which is two hours away from where I am.
In general the last few weeks of December flew by so fast and I really liked how things were going and I had fixed my sleeping schedule which have been trying since 2020 but I broke it again the past three days but I won't give up, I'm fighting to fix it. But on the 28th of December my little sister got sick with fever and all which thwarted all our plans for New Years' Eve and New Years Day. And I'm super worried for her health, it's a common cold but my sister rarely is this rundown by sickness even with Covid she passed on her feet twice...So, yeah I'm worried about my sister's health.
On a similar note, my best friend's dad went to the hospital on new years' day because he almost died from severe tonsillitis and had surgery but today on the second day she learned he is doing very well and I'm so thankful!
Lastly, as I have said many times before I have been struggling with finding time and inspiration to write so updates on both this story and on Sorry For Existing are so irregular and random and I'm sorry! I'm trying to fix this. And I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has been reading, commenting and giving kudos to, not just these two stories, but all of my stories, even those I haven't and probably won't update because I have lost inspiration and the whole idea for the plot.
But good news I have finished the 28th chapter of this story and I'm working on the 29th so we are getting somewhere!!!
Now, with this chapter I suggest you listen to: Premonitions by Vaults
Enjoy!!!
Hearing Alaric's intercom announcement Nansia and Penelope looked at each other as they sat in their rooms catching up on homework."Do you think it's a monster?" Nansia asked Penelope with fear invading her voice giving it a tremor.
"No, I think it's about Felicity's virus. I saw Professor Dorian returning into campus during PE, he looked tired." Penelope said as she finished her note taking.
"Great! One more thing to deter us from freeing Ryan and kicking Malivore's ass!" Nansia exclaimed as she laid back on her bed and kicked her notebooks to the ground in the process.
"Text Ryan let him know we are on lockdown and not to appear at the Old Mill this afternoon, we will have to see how things will go." Penelope said reassuringly and Nansia grimaced before grabbing her phone to text Ryan as told.
On the other side of the campus, Lizzie was with Bonnie looking into therapists and medications for her Bipolar Disorder when they heard her dad call for a lockdown. Bonnie had to go to the faculty meeting and Lizzie had to return her dorm.
A state of panic was established in the halls wherever you were, kids were rushing around and doors slamming shut. Some fights were broken apart by teachers and whispers were heard all around. Lizzie could hear Hope's name being refer to at every turn.
Everyone was blaming her for this? What a load of crap!
Arriving in her dorm she found Josie stressing too.
"How are we supposed to work like this, huh? I'm trying to locate the werewolf bloodline, what am I supposed to do if I'm not allowed to leave the campus?" Josie rambled stressed as she held a bunch of papers in a messy manner pacing around their room.
