Christmas Week & New Years Eve More Like News & Trials

Hey, how are you, guys? A happy new year may be upon you and so sorry I wanted to upload earlier but I couldn't find the time.

I hope you enjoy this chapter and the following Christmas themed chapters because I'm in denial and don't want Christmas to end and because I have many things planned out for our characters.

After the nightmare, Nansia felt very ashamed for shocking Caroline that way that she took a deep breath the next morning and joined her for coffee on the porch.

"Hey! I'm sorry...I don't know if Alaric..Dr. Saltzman or Jeremy or Elena informed you of my...my case...It's scary believe me I've lived it..." She said as rubbed her cup of coffee anxiously.

Caroline looked at her, she knew would come she smelled her and heard her ask Elena awkwardly where she was.

"It's okay, Nansia, it's just too much...just the thought of you going through your teen years twice I mean you shy away nine years from becoming twenty-eight for the second time, right? I'm sorry but I'm forever stuck at seventeen and you become twice twenty-eight years old it sounds unfair and I'm still slightly jealous. And the way you passed through your first time as a teen and an adult at a war...and now you are just in a different dimension, you never got to experience normal life which might cause troubling behavior now and in later years and as a mother I don't want that influence surrounding my daughters, they already have it harder than most and not at all how I imagined it. I thought I'd be a better mother but I'm not..I'm worse than my own mother." Caroline said with a heavy sigh and worried tone.

"I get it...trust me...I'm sorry I scared you.." Nansia apologized as she turned around to leave she felt as if she wasn't welcomed. Once she got inside she got a text from Ryan with a screenshot of Hope's Instagram following Ryan's. She touched her cup on the counter and looked at it horrified. She quickly typed an answer to Ryan before starting to make a bowl of cereal for herself. She planned to eat it out at the front porch or her room but then she saw Stefanie sitting alone in the living room and watching cartoons that she was hit with a nostalgic wave for her younger sister so she decided to go watch it with her and keep her company.

Caroline had watched at her leaving and she sighed. She couldn't bring herself to feel comfortable with Nansia, something was making her pull up all the walls and get in defense when she would see Nansia socialize with her kids and Elena and Bonnie and even Alaric and Jeremy. She felt that there was something wrong....something very wrong.

Ryan woke up in his hotel room in Prague and he couldn't help but jump excited and got dressed quickly and got a coffee and a breakfast sandwich on the go and joined the tour he signed up for the night before when he arrived at the hotel.

He was overwhelmed and didn't know what to do first; take pictures, listen to the tour guide, or marvel at the views by himself? You know living in the moment?

The group tour stopped before a traditional cuisine restaurant and Ryan had time to sit down and marvel the photos he took and decided to add a few on his Instagram when he saw a follow notification that a certain @HopeAMAUnicorn had followed him.

"Shit!" Ryan cursed as he screenshot the notification and sent it to Nansia with a huge letter saying;

"WTF?"

Soon Nansia answered back with a shocked emoji and then he pressed to see Hope's profile. It was the standard profile of a teen; shots with friends, artistic shots of nature and friends and selfies...a lot of them.

"Huh...Mikaelson you didn't look like the selfie type." Ryan mused by himself and then went to Nansia's profile and saw her recent post of her and Hope at the bonfire and then saw a man in the background of the photo he had seen before...not face to face but he had in his peripheral view whenever he was with Nansia at Mystic Falls! He was always in the background!
