8. The Truth

Ivystar was the first to speak. "There is something I must tell you that I've known for a while.

"What is it?" Skypaw tilted her head in confusion.

Ivystar took a long breath and said "before you were kitted Petalheart received a prophecy about you-er I think it is anyways"

"What do you mean?" Skypaw asked.

"The prophecy was blue will save the clan, for if it leaves to soon all will die" Ivystar said. "and since you are the only blue cat in the clan I thought you were the one, And today confirmed it, you talked to a fox. A fox!"

"Well how is being able to talk to foxes do anything? And how do I save the clan with that?" Skypaw said flicking her tail Angrily. "I'm not sure Skypaw. Have you noticed anything else strange?" Ivystar asked. "No not re..." Skypaw trailed off. Staring blankly at Ivystar. Then she fell on her side.

"Skypaw? Skypaw? Skypaw!?" Ivystar got to her feet  calling for Petalheart."Petalheart!" Petalheart barged in. "What is-" she stopped when she saw Skypaw. "What happened?!" "She was saying something then she fell over" Ivystar said. "We need to get her to my den." Petalheart grabbed Skypaws scruff and Started dragging her out of the den and into the Medicine cat den.

Once they got there Petalheart examined Skypaw and when she was done she looked up at Ivystar. "She's-" she started but she was cut off by a loud "SKYPAW!" They turned their heads to see Stormpaw racing in towards Skypaw.

"What's wrong? Is she hurt? What happened? Is she alright?" He asked frantically. Petalheart flicked her tail angrily. "As I was saying she's fine she just is sleeping...at least I think because nothing looks out of order" Stormpaw calmed down and sat next to Skypaw grooming her fur.

"Alright then Petalheart I told her" Ivystar turned and left after speaking. "Stormpaw why are you here?" Petalheart said. He stopped grooming her. "Skypaw is here and I don't want to leave her." He answered and started grooming her once again.

"Well then stay but don't keep me up I need to rest but if she wakes get me up" Petalheart said as she curled in a ball in her nest with her tail over her nose.

I awoke in a foggy forest near a small cave I sniffed the air seeing if I could scent anything when I heard a voice. I turned and saw my family standing there. Cinderpaw,
Lionkit, Lionfur and Streamfur. I rushed over and sat in front of them purring. "Why am I here?" I asked.

"The prophecy!" Lionkit squeaked and I looked at him. "Oh yeah the prophecy what do you know?" I asked. "We know what your power can do because..." This time Streamfur spoke but she trailed off. "Because what?!" I said looking at my mother. "Everyone leave" my family left and padded away slowly then she spoke.

"Because I had the same power" "What?! Y-you!? What is the power anyways!? I yowled. "It is a special power that cats in our family can have" Streamfur said. "It is the power of knowledge"
"About what?!"
"Any language"

"So I know how to speak any language I what?" I asked and Streamfur nodded. "So that's why I can speak to animals." I said astonished. "But, you are different. You can control weather." Streamfur meowed. "No I never had" I meowed in shock.

"Oh yes you have don't you remember when we passed it was raining? Or when you became an apprentice it was sunny? That is what you can do it depends on your emotions for now. But if you practice You will be able to do it whenever you want." she meowed.

"What!? That's awesome!" I said. "For now you must head back and tell Ivystar I made the mistake of not telling her I'm sorry goodbye for now my daughter." And with that I woke in the medicine cat den with Stormpaw next to me sleeping.I saw that the moon was out so I went back to bed.

"Ypaw Skypaw!" I heard a voice call. I opened my eyes to see Stormpaw looking at me with a worried look which turned into a smile when he saw me lift my head. "What I'm awake!" I said irritated because he woke me up. "You randomly passed out yesterday and we brought you here. What happened?" He asked.

"Oh my mother just came to see me in a dream" I said half lying. Stormpaw looked at me funny and then opened his mouth to say something but was cut off. "Stormpaw! You will have more time to stay with your "mate" when your a warrior now come on we have training!" Icefur barged in and grabbed Stormpaw by the scruff and dragged him away with him clawing the ground in an attempt to get free.

I let out a mrrow of laughter as he was dragged away then Petalheart quickly got up and questioned me on my dream. "What do you mean 'your mother came to see you in a dream' " she asked curiously. "Well she told me that I have the power of knowledge and that it runs in the family" I said in a matter-of-fact tone. "Also I can control the weather"

Petalheart's jaw dropped and she didn't say anything for a couple heart beats then she opened her mouth. "WHAT!?" She yowled.

Sorry for the wait peeps. The chapters finally caught up with me and I didn't have a thing to post and a lot of stuff is happening lately so I've been busy I'm so sorry plz so take this chapter as an apology. Bye peeps!
