7. Im free! With rose?

Hey guys sorry for the wait I just went camping and I didn't have my iPad and I wanted to post before I left and I didn't so I'm posting it now! Enjoy!

About a moon later
During this moon Stormpaw and Skypaw have gotten closer and sometimes would take hunting trips together tho Graykit would always ruin it. And yeah to the story.

Ivystar called a meeting while jumping up to the high branch. "Today is a special day for one cat" she began. "Graykit please step forward" the small cat known as Graykit  stepped forward and jumped on to the slightly lower branch In front of Ivystar.

"Graykit  you have been with us for a moon and you have shown great promise I am honoured to give you your apprentice name. Graykit from this day on you will be named Greypaw. Your mentor is Rosepelt. Serve us well." Graypaw  jumped down into the crowd listening to the cats chant his name. "Graypaw! Graypaw! Graypaw! Graypaw!"

Today was the day I can finally get back to some serious training. Graypaw became an apprentice! Not that I didn't enjoy his company but I just wanted something else to keep my mind of of other things. I leaned onto Stormpaw our tails intertwined. "Now I can get back to serious training!" I meowed happily. "I know plus we can go on more hunts together" he smiled.

"Anyway I'm going to go see foxtail bye Stormpaw!" I meowed and he licked my ear. "Bye!" I padded over to foxtail. but before I could speak foxtail spoke. "Today it's time to do some battle training and some assessments!" She meowed and padded out of camp beckoning me with her tail.

When we got to the training hollow foxtail sat down and ordered me to show her my hunting crouch. Once I did it she got up and examined me. "Good good..." I heard her mumble and then she was done examining me. "Ok that's all good now I wanna see it in action." She meowed while pointing at a rabbit a few fox lengths away with her tail.

"Allright foxtail!" I yell/whispered. I dropped into the crouch and crept forward. Soon I was about to pounce when I heard rustling in the bush next to me. I sniffed the air. And I couldn't figure out the scent. I looked at foxtail who looked back at me with wide eyes filled with terror. "its a fox!" She yelled and i ran away form the bush just as a small skinny fox walked out of the bush.

"What do you want?" I hissed at it. And to my surprise it answered. "W-where am I?" It asked. " Your in Forestclan territory" I hissed at it. " Can you lead me back outside this place I don't wanna bother you." It let out a weak smile. "Fine what's your name? And how old are you?" I asked it.

"My name is rose. And I'm 3 moons old and I can't find my mom." Rose said sadly.
I gasped "that's horrible I know I little about that my mom died when I was 4 moons old." My face softened. "Well do you know the way out of this territory?" Rose asked. "Because I know where my den is if you do" "yeah I'll show you!" I said and I padded towards the end of the border.

When I got there i heard rose yip. "Is something wrong?" I asked. "No I'm just happy I know where to go from here!" She squealed and padded off. "Bye thanks for the help" she said. "Bye! I said as i padded back to the training hollow and foxtail wasn't there.
'Hmmm maybe she went back to camp' I thought as I padded off.

When I got to camp I was halfway run over by Stormpaw who screamed. "Your alive!" While licking me. "What why wouldn't I be alive?" I asked puzzled. "Foxtail said you and the fox were talking and you weren't speaking English! then you left with the fox!"
He said still licking me.

"Hm? I was speaking English didn't you understand foxtail?" I asked still puzzled. foxtail looked at me. "N-no I did t you were speaking gibberish in a high pitched voice" she said trembling slightly at the thought. "Ok then I was speaking to rose she said she couldn't find her mother and wanted to leave the territory...so I led her out of the territory?" The last part came out slightly like a question.

"Ok then that's enough." I turned to see Ivystar at the front of the crowd. "Skypaw I need to speak with you." She said and she turned to go to her den I followed her.
When we were In the den Ivystar was the first to speak. "There is something I must tell you that I've known for a while.

Ohhhhh cliffhanger! Anyway to celebrate getting 166 views on my story I am making a bonus chapter on how Cinderpaw got killed I know it's sad but I'm thinking you guys want to know...well some of you.

I awoke in the apprentices den to find no cat was awake yet. Yesterday I trained with Leafstorm and we learned 5 different battle moves and I mastered 2 of them! I padded out of the den making sure I didn't wake anyone. Then once I got out I left camp. I padded through the undergrowth not knowing where I was going. 'Hmmm maybe I'll go for a hunting trip? Nah how about practicing my moves? Nah how abou-...'

I stopped when I heard some cats I sniffed the air. 'Swiftclan! Oh no!' I thought. I crouched down in a bush hoping that the couldn't scent me. "Wait...do you smell that?" A she-cat said while sniffing the air. "It kinda smells like-"

I jumped out of the bush and landed on the she cats back. She rolled on the ground attempting to crush me with her weight but she wasn't heavy enough. So I clawed her stomach and she ran off. As I was catching my breath I saw 3 toms jump out of the bushes and onto me clawing me everywhere.

I attempted to fight back but then one scratched my throat bringing me to the ground. I heard someone say "attack!" But I knew I was already going to die then I heard Featherpaw "oh no someone get Petalheart or Waterpaw now!" She yowled but it was too late. "I w-was get-getting revenge but there was too many" I chocked out. "Tell Skypaw that I love her" I meowed before my world went blank.
