The stick splintered as Streamfur bit down on it. She spit out the remains of the stick and yowled in pain. A small grey bundle fell onto the moss and Petalheart pushed it gently towards Streamfur's stomach.
"It's a she-cat" Petalheart said, And continued to help Streamfur, who had another spasm and another bundle fell onto the moss. "It's a Tom" Petalheart meowed, but quickly noticed that his breathing was getting shallower and shallower until it stopped.
Streamfur noticed Petalheart's expression and asked "w-what's...wrong" while yowling in pain as a spasm went through her body.
"I'm sorry" Petalheart meowed "he's in the paws of Starclan now"
Streamfur didn't have time to look at her son before another spasm went through her body once again then a blue kit fell onto the moss. Petalheart saw the blue bundle and gasped. 'What if that's the one of blue sky?' She thought while pushing the blue kit beside her sister.
"Good job" Petalheart said "your all done" Petalheart padded out of the nursery as Lionfur ,Streamfur's mate, went in.
"Streamfur! Are you alright?" He meowed worriedly.
"I'm fine but..." She trailed off. "y-your son didn't make it" She looked at his body with sadness. Lionfur didn't say anything and layed down on the other side of the three kits.
"Let's at least give him a name" he meowed, not taking his eyes of of his son. "He looks like me, maybe we should name him lionkit" Lionfur looked Streamfur in the eye and searched for approval.
Streamfur, who nodded, who nodded then meowed. "And what about the girls?"
Lionfur looked down at the two small she-cats beside him. "Maybe Cinderkit for the tabby and..." He trailed off.
Streamfur and Lionfur looked at the blue she cat and in union said "Skykit!"

---Skykit---"Got your tail!" Someone familiar jumped on my tail with claws unsheathed.
"Ow!" I yowled in pain before glaring and my older sister, Cinderkit.
Cinderkit put on a innocent face while our mother Streamfur padded out of the nursery.
"I hope you playing nice with you sister Cinderkit." She said while padding over to the fresh kill pile.
"That was close" Cinderkit was watching mother, so I crept into a perfect place to pounce on her and...WHAM! I jumped right ontop of Cinderkit and sat on her with triumph in my small blue eyes.
"Hhheeeyyy" She whined while trying to get out from under me. I laughed Evily before letting her go. Then I heard a loud battle cry and I whipped my head around to see lots of cats run through the treelog, and into the camp.
Before I knew what was going on, I was grabbed by my scruff and dragged into the medicine cat den by Petalheart. She shoved me into a small crack in the wall before leaving me alone.
After what felt like moons she came back, this time with Cinderkit and Waterpaw her apprentice.
I tried to get out of the crack but Petalheart just said, "stay there" and shoved Cinderkit inside with me.
