and the melodies of others
I see you in the sky
in the happiest of days
even in this big old city I can feel you walking next to me
side by side
and I need you
you've made me everything
and everything reminds me of you
and then everything goes and disappears and you're not there
you'll never be there.
everyone has that one unique person
when no matter how much of a shitty day it is they are heaven
just by seeing this persons face or hearing their voice it makes you smile
and for that split second
you forget about reality
and you are taken away
to a made up world in your head
where it's just you and them.
and it's in that moment I know that I love you,
because I see the world in your eyes
and your eyes everywhere in the world
it feels like you're so close
but you're so far away,
but I don't just care
because knowing we are under the same sky
makes my day
and I keep looking up to the stars
and hoping that you're doing the same
I hope we meet somewhere out there, somehow when the time is right.
when God wants us to meet,
when I am ready.
when I'm not afraid to meet you.
afraid that I won't be enough.
afraid of falling even more.
