We should've left with Kiera and Kaliyah. Deadass, this shit ain't even fun no more. Now, we stuck here with Amirah and her entourage of loud, drunk bitches until the sun comes up. My patience ran out hours ago, and Nalani looks like she's about two seconds from straight-up passing out. Honestly, I don't even blame her.

I checked my phone, hoping for something, anything, to distract me, but Raheem's dumbass hit me up talking about sliding through. I swear, if he pulls up and starts some shit, I'm swinging first. Ain't nobody got time for his hood antics tonight.

But real talk, I can't leave Amirah here. Not with all these fake friends who'd snake her the second it benefits them. Bitches out here scheming over crumbs. I've seen hoes sell out their day ones over a blunt, so nah, I'm sticking around.

And these bitches still got Kaliyah's vape, passing it around like it's community property. I know she's heated. She just bought that shit, and now it's got everybody's DNA on it. Kaliyah don't play about her shit, and neither do I, but I'm too tired to snatch it back.

"Lani, you falling asleep?" Cece asked, smiling like we weren't in the middle of this chaotic ass club.

Cece, I fuck with her heavy now. Sweet as hell, but kinda like sugar in a world full of salt. Me and Kaliyah been teaching her how to clap back, though. Earlier today, we had her and Kiera going back and forth, roasting each other for practice. Cece low-key ate Kiera up—friendly fire, though.

Now, if we can just get her hands to match her mouth, she'd be set. Girl can't fight for shit, but she's got potential. A sweetheart with a bite. Gotta love it.

"No," Nalani mumbled, eyes barely open.

"Bae, real niggas don't sleep," I joked, lifting her head off my shoulder. She slumped right back down like a rag doll.

"Mare," Raheem called, swaggering over like he owned the place. I rolled my eyes but gave him a half-assed hug.

"Hi," Cece greeted, ever polite.

"What's your name?" Raheem asked, sizing her up.

"Siera " she replied, giving him a small smile.

"Nice to meet you, Siera ," he said, pulling her into a side hug before glancing at me with a smirk. I gave him a look that said, try it, and see what happens.
