Parker POV
All of the boys around me went crazy as number 57's hands clasped around the ball and his feet hit the ground in the end zone with two seconds left on the clock. The crowd behind me started cheering and I just rolled my eyes, taking pictures of the celebration. My eyes met Griffin's as he was looking dead at me from his position on the field. His team mates were high fiving and praising him, but Griffin didn't seem to be focused on them in the least.
I hid my face behind my camera, losing myself in the view. The atmosphere truly was amazing. The fans, the yelling, the excitement, it was all tangible in the air...I got distracted with the feel of it all, and was only brought back when I felt something else.
"So, Caldon has the paparazzi following them around now days?" A hand was on my shoulder, turning me to face someone much taller than I, which isn't saying much, but he was definitely bigger than any of the guys I was used to dealing with.
His sweaty brown hair hung down in his brown eyes as he smiled from ear to ear. The jersey he was wearing told me he was from the other team, but that didn't matter much to me. What did matter was that his bright white teeth had me in a daze while he said something else.
"What?" I blinked, shaking my head and looking back up at him. He gave me a small chuckle in return.
"I asked if you're the infamous photographer that lurks the halls of Caldon." I bit my lip, not really sure if I wanted to answer that question. Reputations can be dangerous and I really didn't need anymore problems right now. I had a back up identity as someone's younger brother, ya know, since I look like I'm 16 not 18, but something in his eyes had me telling the truth.
"Yea, I'm Parker." I smiled nervously, glancing down at the camera in my hands.
"It's nice to meet you Parker, I'm Handsome." He put his hand out for me to shake.
"Handsome?" He gave me another little chuckle and shook his head.
"Hahn-tzel," he pronounced for me, "but everybody calls me Han." His eyes darted down to his still outstretched hand. I took it, damn that's a firm handshake.
"Han," I repeated the name while looking him over, "you seem...familiar." That smile grew even wider just before it fell off his face completely.
"Parker, what are you doing?" Hands fell on my hips just as his voice hit my ears. Griffin. Han looked between the two of us, then down at Griffin's hands on me and had quite the cute confused face.
"Are you two...?" He left the question open, but I knew what he meant. A quick no left my mouth at the same time as Griffin said the exact opposite. I scowled up at him while he rolled his eyes and began his attempt to drive off my new friend.
"He's not up for grabs, so why don't you-"
"Griffin, this is exactly the bull shit I was talking about!" I pushed him off of me before yanking my arms out of the sleeves of his dumb jacket and throwing it on the ground.
"I'm just-uh-I'm gonna go." Han pointed to where his team was all heading off the field. "It was nice meeting you Parker." He flashed me one more bright smile before turned and jogging off to his friends.
"I thought I made myself clear." Griffin growled, picking his jacket up off the ground. At the moment, I was furious. How dare he embarrass me in front of a complete, but very hot, stranger!
