A/N:
This chapter is little long, and by a little I mean quite haha.
Italicized text represents flashbacks of past events as per usual.

I climbed out of Griffin's car, the absurdly loud music already reaching my ears as it leaked out of the massive house. Theo definitely lived large, that was for sure. His mini-mansion was tucked away in the middle of the woods outside of town, so even though it was a bit of a drive for most people, there weren't any neighbors to call the cops and shut down the various gatherings Theo held when his parents were away.
Everything in me didn't want to be here. That wasn't true. Griffin wanted to be here, and there was this growing part of me that wanted him to be happy, so somewhere deep down I was okay with coming tonight; however, that didn't mean the familiar front of the house didn't seem more and more uninviting with each passing second.
"Shall we?" Griffin offered me his hand, bringing me out of my head. I took it, immediately being pulled flush against his shirtless side and lips were whispering in my ear, "I've got you."
.....
Griffin POV
Parker was visibly stiff as we walked through Theo's lavish house. It's like his eyes were glued to the floor and the party wasn't even going on. It was, though. The music was blaring, people were dancing and drinking and laughing and-I hadn't realized how much I'd missed this.
Ever since things with Parker had started, I'd been passing up all the parties and gatherings in favor of spending time with him. I didn't regret it, not one bit. However, when I saw Victor doing a keg stand on the back porch, I definitely felt an empty part of me filling back up.
"You can go," Parker's voice hit my ears even amid all of the noise. "Go see your bros, I'll be alright."
Even in his uncomfortable state, he was still as observant as ever. Of course I wanted to go see the guys and have a beer and be-no. I have a responsibility. Internally I was kicking myself, but I knew what I signed up for. If I was going to make Parker come to this party, I wasn't going to leave his side. Although, the moment he'd put on the prince costume I'd gotten for him he lost all arguments for not coming. He was gorgeous, piercing blue eyes being accentuated by the colors. My handsome little prince.
"Griffin, I'm serious," he gave me a fake smile. He knew I knew. I knew that he knew that I knew it was fake...but he gave it nonetheless. "I'm gonna go find Janine."
Slowly, he pulled away from my side. I held onto his hand, almost refusing to let his fingers slip out of my grasp. Almost. I watched him go, maneuvering his way through the crowd like he had on the sidelines with ease and grace. Part of me took a step after him, his absence from my side in this house already intolerable.
"Griffin?!" Victor called my name. The guys were all motioning for me to join them on the back porch and another part of me took a step towards them. I deserved to let loose and have some fun. Parker could take care of himself, he wanted me to know that. He'd be fine. I glanced in Parker's direction one more time, catching a glimpse of his silver crown just before he rounded a corner in the next room. Then he was gone.
I turned back to my friends and started making my way towards them. A broad smile found its way onto my face as they started chanting my name. Everything was going to be fine.
"I think someone owes us a keg stand." Someone said. I laughed along with the guys until my eyes fell on him. Of course he was here with the rest of the team. Theo Beckett.
