Jennie Ruby Jane Kim POV
"Lisa" That's what I call her.
She didn’t even look at me and just kept playing her game.
I frowned. This has been going on for days, and it’s starting to piss me off.
Her event here in Paris is over, and we were supposed to be relaxing and exploring, but we can’t do that now because she’s ignoring me.
Ugh! What did I do?
I poked her shoulder. “lisa... what’s wrong?” I asked sweetly.
She’s done this before—ignoring me—and now she’s doing it again? Can’t she think of another tactic? If this is her game, then she’s going to get punished again.
Still, she didn’t acknowledge me, turning up the volume on her game instead.
My forehead furrowed deeper. I’m trying my best to be sweet and patient here! Shouldn’t she be the one chasing after me? I’m the girl in this relationship!
…Well, she’s a girl too.
A girl with a… well, you get it.
And I miss her...
“Me too.”
Lisa suddenly looked at me, confused. Did I say that out loud? Oops.
I stood up and went behind her. I gently massaged her shoulders, and she tensed up immediately. Leaning down, I kissed her ear. “Baby, what’s wrong?”
I saw her gulp. I smirked. Just a little more, and she’ll give in.
“Hm? What did I do this time, baby? I miss you. Don’t you miss me? You’ve been ignoring me for three days now. I miss your touch, baby. I’m dying here.” I pouted dramatically.
The only time she acknowledges me is when she gives me food or something I need. Even though she’s ignoring me, she still takes care of me, which makes it hard to stay mad.
“Don’t you miss me in bed? Because my kitty misses you so bad,” I teased.
It’s true, though. I miss our workouts. My poor kitty feels abandoned.
I laughed when she abruptly stood up, rushing to the bathroom with her hands covering her junior.
---
I was getting ready because she asked me out to eat, but she was still giving me the cold shoulder.
This all started when…
“What if I told you, the girl I like is you, Jen? Would you stay?”
She looked at me, serious, waiting for my answer.
My heart raced. Honestly, I didn’t know what to say. We’ve always just joked around and flirted, but I don’t do commitment.
I don’t want commitment—but she’s my girlfriend? Weird, right? But this is an arranged relationship. I don’t love her and never will. Besides, I’m sure she loves someone else.
I chuckled nervously and lightly smacked her arm. “Nice joke. What’s with the serious face?”
“I know you like someone else, and that’s perfectly fine with me. To answer your question, I’d say thank you, but please don’t. I don’t see myself falling in love, and I don’t want commitment—it’s a headache.”
“So let’s stay date on paper and just flirt. That’s all I can offer.”
After I said that, she quickly masked her emotions and smiled. “Right. I was joking. Why would I like someone with such a bad attitude?”
