Lucas POV

Eric...

I always seemed to forget just how much money Eric's family seemed to have. Walking inside his house felt more like stepping into a museum where I could only look, but wasn't allowed to touch anything. As we headed towards his room though, I also remembered how lonely he must have been. It was a large, beautiful home, full of fancy new furniture, but it was also pretty empty. Only Eric and his nanny actually lived here.

This was the first time I had ever been to Eric's room. It was pretty well kept and cleaner than I had expected from Eric, but then again his nanny probably cleaned after him.

Immediately, I jumped on Eric's bed and made myself at home, while he seemed to silently wander in and out, just doing his usual business. I tried calling Will again, but still found no luck reaching him. Sending him, yet another, text, I put my phone down and waited.

Eric left the room without a word. He hadn't spoken to me since we got in his car and came to his place. I was starting to get worried, though I figured I couldn't be too concerned if he still brought me here.

Seeing him nowhere in sight, I got off the huge, comfortable bed and walked around his room, snooping around at all his things. It was obvious that many of them were merely there for decoration. On one side of the wall was a large shelf full of books.

Ha! Eric, reading? Funny.

Checking the books out closer I found that many were just large encyclopedias, probably just there to take up space. Then I found a row of books that were much more interesting. Each one had the name of a different school engraved on the cover. Yearbooks.

I couldn't help myself and skimmed through many of them to find Eric and see how he had grown over the years. His elementary school pictures were so funny and adorable! He had such a cute baby face, all with the same innocent and confused expression on them. One yearbook in particular though managed to really grab my attention.

"Mullen Middle School..." It was by far the easiest one to spot Eric in. Though he was young, he had the same angry face he did now. "So this is when it started..."

"What are you doing?"

I turned back to find Eric closing the door behind him. His hair and body were slightly wet, like he had quickly taken a shower or something. Oh, and he was shirtless too, that was hard to miss. In fact, it was the first thing I noticed right after I gulped and put the book down.

"I was just looking at your old yearbook from middle school," I replied, as he walked up behind me and picked up the book himself. "So even back then you were angry and pissed."

Flipping through the pages, Eric suddenly dropped the book without a care.

"I don't even remember going to this school."

"Why's that?" I asked, picking it back up and putting it away, just trying to make Grace's job a little easier.

"I beat up some kid who went crying to his parents," he explained. "He was a little pussy."

He was still hurt. It was in his voice. I wrapped my arms around his waist and cuddled up next to him, hoping it would help him relax. Pulling his chin down towards me, I kissed him, bringing us closer and closer together. That's when he decided to lift me up, all by himself, and carried me over to his bed.

Crawling on top of me, kissing all over my neck, I realized just how gentle he really was when he was with me. He always seemed to hold on to me when we did this. Even when I was the one on top, he was only comfortable with it as long as I held on to his hand. That was usually the farthest we would go.

"Hey," I stopped him from getting any lower, waiting until he was up by my neck to tell him, "you don't have to worry about seeing me with another guy that isn't you anymore, okay?"
