Running the hot comb through my clients closure one more time, i sat it back down on the stand.
"Alright boo im all done!"
Turning the chair around facing the mirror, a smile instantly spreaded across her face.
"Oh my gawd! I swear you get me right every time" tiare my client gushed over her hair.
I smiled to myself, i loved making my clients happy every time they sat in my chair.
"Girl you did your thing on her head" Ella another hairstylist in the shop, gave me my props.
"Thank you boo! I mean i be trying my best, i'm just happy she loves her hair.
Besides me and Ella, there was three other hairstylist.
Juju was a braider, kiara dealt with natural hair like silk presss, blow outs, and clip ins. She basically take care of your hair and help you keep it healthy and growing.
And finally there was Briana who just did wigs.
Today was my first official day at Kash's momma shop, and so far its been going good.
The girls are real cool and we get along for the most part, which was a relief.
"Here you go Karizma, thank you once again for slaying my hair!" My client handed me the money with a sweet smile, and left the shop.
Putting the money away, I flopped down on my beauty chair and yawned.
I was starting to get tired, and i still had two my clients to do for today.
Checking the time on my phone it was definitely time for me to get something to eat.
"Friend its your first day and you're already doing you big one! I love that for you!" Juju gassed me up.
"Exactly what i was saying! My girl bringing in that money like a pro, and rightfully so" Ella grinned at me as she finished up with her client.
I loved how supportive they were, especially since i was the newbie.
"Yup yup, Riyah was smart about bringing you into the shop" Kiara gave me a genuine smile while parting some braiding hair.
"Period! Welcome to the team mamas" Ella squealed with a excitement, pulling me into a warm hug.
Giggling a little i hugged her back.
I can tell out of everybody, me and Ella was going to be close.
"Thanks you guys. I can't lie, my nerves was really bad this morning, but I'm slowly starting to feel better" i admitted as i smiled at the cute message Kash had sent me three hours ago.
I missed my man.
We haven't seen each other since friday, and it was already monday.
But i planned on surprising him later on with his graduation gift.
"Oh trust me girl we all had that feeling when we first started here. But i got a feeling you gone be just fine" Ella gave me a warm smile.
