"What are you doing later today?" I shut my locker and put the strap over my shoulder. "How about you just ask me the real question you wanna ask," I smirked.

"That obvious, huh." He rubbed the back of his neck with a nervous chuckle. "Quite," I giggled.

"Well, I was thinking- if you're not busy later today... if I could take you on that date I mentioned?" He stuffed his hand in his pocket as he looked at me intently. I smiled widely and hung my head low to keep myself from smiling any wider.

"But like if you need to work on that project that you have with Peter, I totally understand."

I lifted my head and shook my head. "I think Peter can wait another day. I would like to go on that date with you."

His eyes widened and he sighed in relief quickly after processing those words. "Yeah? Oh, g-great! I can't wait!" I smiled, watching him not know what to do with himself. He seemed really excited and nervous all at once. It was actually cute.

"Ok, so how about I come pick you up at five?" I nodded my head, "Five sounds good!" He nodded firmly with a blush that was becoming hard to hide. "Great! I'll see you later?"

"I'll see you later," I smiled. I pushed myself off the locker and gently bumped his shoulder as I walked past him to make my way to class.

By the time I got to class, I was in such a good mood. The day was already off to a good start, and now I sincerely had something to look forward to later in the day.

Just as the stranger in front of me walked in a different direction, I was pleasantly surprised to see Dalilah already in her seat.

I smiled and walked to the my seat with an undeniable pep in my step. I sat my camera down and shifted in my seat, already feeling Dalilah's eyes on me.

"Well someone's in a good mood! And before you deny it, just know that smile on your face will prove it."

I chuckled some and playfully rolled my eyes. "I'm not going to deny it because I am in fact, in a good mood," I hummed.
