𝐀𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐖𝐀𝐘𝐒 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐉𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐒𝐎𝐍, I made my way to photography. Though, not without being the center of people's whispers, once again. It didn't bother me much, and even if it did there's not much I could do about it.
As soon as I got to class I sat down in my usual seat and waited for Dalilah. But not for much longer. Dalilah came in a hurry and immediately began asking me a million questions about this and that.
"Alright, alright. One question at a time." Dalilah huffed. "First off- what the hell! Since when have you been a Hell Hound? I thought they were like a myth!"
"Last time I checked, since forever. You don't just become one, you're born as one."
"Okay, and you and Jackson? What's going on there?" She quirked a brow. I shrugged a little, "We're mates." She gasped and then a wide smile appeared on her face. "I totally knew it. Well, I didn't know it, but I had a feeling! You two just scream power couple!"
"I'm happy for you! Wait, this is good, right?" She looked at me and I nodded my head with a little uncertainty. "I mean, yeah?" We stared at each other before bursting out into laughter just as the teacher came into the room.
I shushed her as an announcement was being made. "As we get closer to finals, I encourage you all to pay extra close attention to your portfolios. The rest of our classes will be independent studies, so that you all have time to take your photos. If there are no questions or concerns, let's get to work!"
Everyone practically scrambled towards the teacher with both questions and concerns. Dalilah and I simply grabbed our cameras and left the classroom to begin our quest for great photos.
"So, as you were saying?"
"Like I don't know. Of course it's great that I have a mate... I just don't know how to act or what to do. I mean, we literally hated each other like three days ago, he was fucking with someone else while I was in the next room over, and now we're destined to be together for life? It's just all too... new."
"Yeah, that's understandable." She shrugged with a small sigh. "When I first met my mate, it was weird as fuck because I didn't expect her to be a girl. I don't think I actually interacted with her for real until like a week later because of how much I was avoiding her." She laughed before another sigh escaped her lips.
