Chapter 2: I do want you, but i dont

“Shit” I mumbled.

 See in our world we have things called destiny partners or soul mates or mates, yeah you get the idea, I never cared about a having a DP (destiny partner just incase anyone didn’t get it) I actually didn’t want one, when you meet your DP your feelings for them are just like any others normal but the more time you spend with them or in the same space aka school or something, your feelings develop more and more until you literally cant stand not being away from them it becomes to painful and you would probably die.

I looked to Tristan and his eyes were wide open and looking at me, I quickly walked to the door, opened it and walked out into the forest that was just over the other side of the road. I needed to clear my head. 

“Tori!” I heard a familiar voice call; I just kept walking not wanting to talk to anyone, especially him.

But as I was walking that someone grabbed my wrist sending tingles up my arm. I turn around and look up to see Tristan looking very worried at me.

“Get of me” I screamed struggling to get out of his iron tight grip. I started to get angry I felt my eyes start to go black, he quickly let go.

“Tori babe, you need to calm down,” he said stepping back from me, ha smart boy.

“Leave me alone” I growled I saw the sky quickly go black, there was a few lightning strikes and thunder, did I mention that the weather reflects my mood.

“Um yeah I’m not going to do that” he said crossing his arms, pure determination in his eyes, why did he look so good, oh my god what am I saying!!

“JUST GO AWAY!” I screamed, I collapsed onto the ground and clutched my head, something was defiantly wrong with me, I was suppose to hate his guts and yet he’s my DP jeez this is so fucked up.

I heard something walk towards me “Tori, what’s wrong?” Tristan asked.

“For someone incredibly good looking you are incredibly stupid,” I said not looking up at him.   

“So I’m only good looking, well that hurts”

“You don’t need any more ego boost’s,” I said smiling a little bit.  

“I like seeing you smile” he said randomly.

I was currently sitting on the ground with my legs crossed with my head in my hands.

“I’m not supposed to find my DP never! I don’t want one, do you what my parents will do when they find out,” I said staring at the beautiful boy in front of me.

He sighed and sat down next to me and put his arm around my waist pulling me into him.

“You know this isn’t just one sided, your not exactly the respectable girl my parents want me to find” he said placing a kiss on the side of my head, I wasn’t bothered getting angry or fighting about it because once you find your DP you cant really live without them.

“I could be very respectable! You don’t know me!” I said turning towards him and poking my tongue out.

He looked at me and raised one eyebrow, “Are you a respectable girl?”

“ No…” I said looking down to the ground.

“Good, I like pissing my parents off”

I smiled and looked at him, “Well that one thing we have in common” I was to lost in his eyes to even realize what was happening before I could stop it his lips crashed onto mine, and to tell you the truth I didn’t really want to stop. I heard thunder and lightning go off and then just as I was running out of breath Tristan pulled away, smirking.

“I didn’t realize I was that good of a kisser” referring to when the lighting went off.

 I hit him over the chest, “I’ve had better” I smirked at him. I got up and was walking back to my car when I was suddenly pushed back and onto a tree, Tristan was standing in front of me smirking, he closed the gap between us to quickly and planted his lips on mine, I must say it’s the best kiss I’ve ever had, I could still here the thunder and lightning but to focused on the stunning looking guy that was kissing me. I pulled away breathless, “come lets go back to my house nobody will be home”

He looked at me and winked, I gasp getting what I just said and hit him over the chest, “that’s not what I meant you perv”

We walked back to my car and drove back to my place, I noticed a car in the driveway that I had never seen before, I pulled up with Tristan pulling up beside me.

“I thought you said nobody would be home?” he asked walking up beside me and grabbing my hand, it felt nice and I loved that fact that his hand fit so perfectly into mine.

“Well nobody’s supposed to be here”

I walked up to the door and stopped; since I’m Satan’s daughter I have most supernatural gifts, so I listened very carefully to see if anyone was robbing the house, but I heard nothing so I carefully opened the door and peered in, I shrugged and opened it fully and walked in only when I was just about to get the kitchen Tristan yelled out, “TORI LOOK OUT” I turned around to face him but just as I did something can charging at me and knocked me to the ground.

I looked up to see and angry/worried Tristan but the directed to the laughing body that was lying on top of me, but as soon as I saw that blonde hair I new exactly who it was and started laughing.

“I’m surprised, you remembered you never stick to commitments” I smirked at my best friend Harley that I hadn’t seen in about 3 years.

“Well its all I’ve been thinking about theses last 3 years so yes I was going to stick to my word” Harley smirked at me. Tristan cleared his throat.

“So who’s this Tor, your new boy toy?” Harley said walking around Tristan, investigating him, “you could of done better, I mean he looks so, so pristine, goody to shoes, I didn’t expect you to change so quickly” I looked at Tristan, he looked confused, I was having a mental argument with myself about whether I should tell Harley or not, but oh well she’s my best friend.

“Well I’ve gotta change that now don’t I since we’ll be stuck together until we die” I said looking at Harley seeing if she got my hint, I waited a couple of seconds and she was in front of me within less then a millisecond did I mention she was a vampire…

“HE’S YOUR DP!!!!!” she said gripping onto my shoulders.

I nodded my head very slowly “Did I mention He’s Caleb Hanson’s son” I was waiting for the explosion she was about to have.

“ YOUR DP’S THE SON OF THE GUARD OF HEAVEN”
