'White People' prt. 1

Warning!

This rant is all over the place, I'm tired, and it's *checks time* 3:35 am

It's terrible I know! But I just wanted to put this out there...

Sigh....

Okay, so I just finished watching 'White People: The Official Documentary'

All I have to say is...wow...just wow...

The videos is either at the top or side, or I don't know....

But I finished watching, and some of the things in that video just...I don't know...

So, let's have a chat about it, shall we!

The video started off with this dude named Jose Antonio Vargas

(Pulitzer Prize-winning Journalist and filmmaker, with the ability to always move that one eyebrow up and fucking down just to get on your damn nerves...even though it was kinda hot at  first...still kinda is but hella annoying.)

Now, if you didn't see this documentary, (Jesus) you can watch it now if you want.

Back to the vid...

But Jose, went to various people asking them what it feels like to be 'white'

Some of the answers were just...I don't know....

One girl said she felt like she was being 'attacked.' (FYI: this was later on in the vid)

*Cue Reggie Couz Face*

Bitch where?

How are you the one being attacked, when white people have SO many more privileges and opportunities out there, than any other race or nationality most likely ever will in this country?

Don't get me wrong, I watched the stats...White people are getting less and less...if you wanna say that I guess....

Anyways, their are SO many more offers and jobs white people can apply for!

Another part of the video, featured a white guy an his two black friends over at his house...

I'm not going to lie, I felt kinda uncomfortable when Jose started asking these race questions at the dinner table....

2 black girls, surrounded by the white people, discussing race issues....

Yeah, honestly I would feel uncomfortable with that...some won't some will, I'm just sensitive to the topic of race...

Than, the term 'Ghetto' was bought up.

*Cue TheThirdPew Facepalm*

Please Lord....

Ghetto: noun- a part of a city, especially a slum area, occupied by a minority group or groups.

Ghetto: verb-1.
put in or restrict to an isolated or segregated area or group.

Ghetto: Chanel- to be Chanel because all her friends say she's ghetto. To act like, be like, look like, and be Chanel...unless your not Chanel.

Okay guys, the girl went out crying, because of this...

Don't use the term 'Ghetto' unless you actually know what it means.

As an African American female, I find this highly offensive.

Unless your my friends because obviously we joke around..A Lot!

But back to the point.

I find this highly offensive, because not only is this a HUGE stereotype among most black woman, it's also more like a 'hate' term....

Does the woman have to be 'Ghetto' just because she's Black?

Hell No!

Look at these damn successful black females...

Cus honey boo it sure as hell ain't your future!

Their making money, living life, and being successful while your dumb ass racist ass self, is tryna compete with LeBron's hairline!

Oops....
