Short Rant

Okay, so I don't know about you guys, but I'm sick of being called 'ghetto' or 'ratchet' because I'm black!

I'm not the girl who wears snapbacks, or Jordan's, or wears weaves all the time!

Okay, maybe I am, but that's totally not the point.

I'm that crazy girl who loves all types of music!!

The girl who loves R5!!

Rydel is like my Sister...

The girl who likes to be different!

I'm getting sick of everybody categorizing black girls as 'loud' and 'ghetto'

I'm not calling them,

'Perky' or 'Blondie' or shit...

It pisses me the fuck off and the more and more I think about it, I just laugh to myself.

For example:

I was in school one day, in Science just sitting around listening to the teacher and doing my work. Then these two twins called my name.

"Chanel! Chanel!"

So I gave a forced smile and titled my head a bit.

"Yes?" I asked.

"How did they get that in your head? Did they sow it in? Can we touch it?"

'Lesson time' I thought.

"No. It's braided in."

And I turned my ass back around.

Fucking people...and it's so stupid because they all ready know that...they just wanted to call me out I feel like.

Example 2:

This white girl said black people can't get lice.

My black teacher said we can.

Than they went back and fourth...

Instead of learning about who and who can't get lice, let's pick up a fucking textbook and learn the real causes about slavery!!

I'm sick and tired of the 'Black people sold black people as a way to get money. They killed their own. It's their fault.'

Yep that's how I learn about slavery you guys?

Anyways there's gonna be more later it's just a short rant...
