Lazy morning

After finishing dinner made by Maria, our maid, I headed to my room on the second floor. I walked over to my bed where I found that I still haven't read Max's text. "Hey grace, wondering if you want to meet up tomorrow?" Max and I had been friends since we were six years old. At first I was like " I ain't being friends with a cootie infested boy, not even in a million years. I was kind of stuck up as a kid... But after year or two we started being best friends. " yeah I'd love to, and I have the most exciting news for you!!" I replied. I walked over to my nightstand and plugged my phone into the charger. I decided too have a quick shower and go to bed for the night. I took one last look at the black sky of new York and thought to myself, why can't the sky be as bright as the people and buildings of new York?

I woke up to a stream of blindly light. Oh good morning Sun, thank you for freaking blindly me nice and early in the morning. I slowly trudged out of bed and went over to my bathroom where I brushed my teeth and styled my hair. I decided to braid my hair down my back. I skipped over to my wardrobe and chose a turquoise sun dress and white converse shoes. When I went down stairs I saw that my sister's were at the dining table alone eating breakfast. "Where's mum and dad?" I asked the twins. "They went to work early" they said in unison. Mum and dad are kind of workaholics, they come home late and go to work early. I just wish they were home more often. "So I'm guessing Cam's still in bed?" I ask. " duh, it's still before noon he'll still be in bed till lunch" said Violet, with a roll of her eyes.

I texted Max and asked him where he wanted to meet. " "Central park, near the lake?" He replied. I took a taxi to the park and met Max at the lake. Max was tall, had green eyes and black hair. Yeah, you're probably wondering why we're not dating. Well it's just that Max has been my best friend for over twelve years, we've past that stage. " Hey Gray" Max said with a wave. " "Hello Max" I said back. We started walking and I remembered my exciting news. "Max, I have the best news ever, I'm going to France for the summer!!" I said excitedly. " "That's amazing Gray!! Max said with a huge smile. We stopped by Starbucks before going back to my house on the upper east side

Max walked me to the doors and turned to face me. " Gray, I'm going to miss you, but I hope you have fun without me" Max said with a pout. "I'm going to miss you too" I said back. I walked through the doors not knowing that it was the last time I would see Max.
