I quickly dash to the toilet and throw up I had been like this for 2 days now Eric walks in and holds my hair back while rubbing my back
"I think you should see a doctor" he suggests I feel too weak to argue and nod the quicker I get this sorted the quicker I can get back to my job Eric helps me up I brush my teeth and get dressed Eric comes with me to the infirmary
"What can I do for you two on this fine day" a nurse asks I think her name is Camilla
"She's been throwing up for the past two days" Eric explains gesturing to me
"Come this way and we will do a blood test we follow her to a room where she draws some blood before disappearing
"What if it's something serious Eric" I ask worried
"It's probably just a stomach bug" he reassures me rubbing my back a few minutes later Camilla comes back with a clipboard
"Congratulations Tina your pregnant" my heart drops
"I...I can't be" I stutter thinking about last time
"I'll give you two a minute" Camilla says walking out
"Eric I can't do this, I can't raise a child during a war it wouldn't be fair" I say looking at him
"You can I will help you please Tina give the baby a chance" he says placing a hand on my stomach "our baby" he smiles "I like the idea of us having a kid don't you" he looks at me smiling I look at my stomach and think of the little Eric or Me growing in there I nod and kiss him
"Fine just don't leave me to cope on my own" I say
"I won't" he smiles
