Sienna

"Oh my goodness, Ms. Sienna, you look absolutely stunning!" Helena gushed as she entered the bedroom. I had just slipped into my dress with help from Josie, one of the other maids who worked here. I needed the assistance, especially after having my hair and makeup done; I didn't want to ruin anything.

Luca had arranged for a top professional makeup artist, who had mostly A-list celebrity clients, and a celebrity hairstylist as well. I was in awe when they showed me some pictures of their famous clientele.

I couldn't help but wonder if they felt as though they had lowered their standards while working on me. Even though they complimented me on my skin and hair, telling me how beautiful I looked and that I was better than half of their clients, I suspected that was just part of their job. Plus, I'm sure they were well compensated, so what was a little white lie to them?

I turned to her with a big smile. "Thank you, Helena, and please just call me Sienna."

"Okay, Sienna," she agreed, though her tone was a little hesitant. "Luca is going to go absolutely stir crazy when he sees you in this! He won't be able to take his eyes off you; you'll be the belle of the ball!"

Her words sent a warm flush to my cheeks. Speaking of Luca, I hadn't seen him since last night. He'd left me here alone again, claiming he had something important to attend to. I understood that he was a busy businessman, but what could possibly require his attention at that hour? It seemed to happen almost every week. Whether it was him answering phone calls he didn't want me to overhear—always stepping away when the phone rang—or rushing off after receiving an urgent text or call, it left me feeling uneasy.

A flicker of suspicion crept in, and I couldn't help but wonder if there was another woman involved. If there was why did he insist on being with me, he was so possessive of me, I thought how could there be another woman, but then I thought if there is, is he the same way with her too?

My thoughts were abruptly interrupted when Helena cleared her throat. "Mr. Luca is waiting for you downstairs, so whenever you're ready..."

The stylists had just left, along with Josie. "I'll be down in a moment; I just need to grab my bag," I replied, trying to steady my racing heart.

Helena beamed at me. "I can't wait to see the look on his face when he sees you, Sienna!" she exclaimed, letting out an excited giggle as she exited the room.

I couldn't help but let out a soft giggle too. As I turned to take a good look at myself in the mirror, I was utterly stunned—wow, I really do look amazing! It felt like I was gazing at a completely different person. My hair was elegantly swept to the side, cascading down my back in luxurious Hollywood waves, with a delicate gold pin securing it in place, adding a touch of sophistication.

My makeup was nothing short of flawless. My eyes sparkled with a shimmering gold hue, accentuated by dramatic black winged eyeliner that made my green eyes pop. The makeup artist had applied a few false lashes to the outer corners of my eyes, making them look wider. And my lips! They were painted a bold, vibrant red—a shade I wouldn't typically choose for myself—but against the backdrop of my stunning dress, I was grateful I had been persuaded to embrace it.

After giving myself a final once-over, I take a quick selfie with my phone, sending it to Kelsey. I had told her where I was going tonight and she asked me to send her a pic of my outfit. Without waiting for a reply, I grabbed my clutch and made my way out of the room, heading toward the stairs. As I descended, I caught sight of Luca standing at the bottom, looking effortlessly handsome. He wore a tailored all-black suit, his shirt matching perfectly in the same shade. A red hankerchief the same colour as my dress sat inside his top pocket of his suit. I couldn't help but admire him. He always looked incredible, but tonight he radiated an extra level of charisma.
