Telling the Girls

Emily's POV

"Get it together, Emily. You have surgery tomorrow and you still haven't told the girls...it's not like they're going to react bad! Or are they? Quit thinking negative!" I said to my self as I entered school.

I've always known that I wasn't fully a girl, I've always known that I loved to do what all the boys did. I talked to my parents about changing my body parts as in...removing my vagina basically. I didn't want to remove my breast because that means I'll be a guy and I didn't want to turn all the way, I wanted to still be a girl but with a penis in between my legs..if that even makes sense? Anyway, my parents didn't take it well. After a year and a half of talking to them and convincing them, they finally agreed. It toke about 2 months to set up an official date to get the surgery. Which is tomorrow and I still haven't told the girls about it.

"Hey em!" Spencer said as she came up to me and hugged me.

"Hey what's up?" I asked.

"Nothing I'm just waiting for the rest of the girls." She said leaning beside my locker.

We waited by my locker until the girls arrived. Alison was the last one to always show up, obviously.

"Hey, I really need to tell you girls something.." I said looking down at the floor.

"What's wrong?" Alison asked touching my shoulder lightly.

"Let's go to the girls restroom." I said and walked in to girls restroom with the girls following me behind.

I checked the stalls making sure no one was in here, I locked the door once the girls were inside, and put my books on the counter, I toke a deep breath. I looked up and the girls were looking at me.

"Okay...here I go." I said playing with my fingers.

"I'm having surgery tomorrow" I said looking at the girls.

"Wait wait...surgery? Surgery for what? Your shoulder? Does it still hurt?" Alison asked panicking.

"No no...I'm going to be intersex" I said releasing a breath I've been holding in.

"As in like you're going to have a dick?!" Hanna asked.

I gave her a light nod.

"Woah...how long is it going to be?" Hanna asked.

"Hanna!" They said in unison.

"Yeah, I've been wanting to tell you guys for a while..." I said.

"For how long?" Spencer asked.

"Well since I've been to the doctors for about 2 months...but since I've been wanting to be intersex, for almost my whole entire life I guess..." I said looking at each of the girls.

"Are you sure this is what you want, Em?" Ali asked me looking at me with concerned eyes.

"Yes, I'm not going to back down out of this.." I said, she grabbed my hand and gave me a light nod.

"I'll be there" she said.

"N-no you can't miss school" I said.

"One day, really em? It's fine." She said.

"Yeah I'll be there too" Hanna said.

"Me to" Aria and Spencer said.

"Thank you so much guys" I said pulled them in for hug.

"So, what should I call you now?" Ali said as she catches up to me while I was walking to lunch.

"Big daddy" I said bursting out laughing.

"I'm serious, Em!" She said laughing.

"Call me Em, Emily..whatever you want just don't call me late for diner" I said letting out a chuckle.

"You nervous?" She asked as we stopped by my locker to leave my text books.

"Yeah, kinda..I mean it's normal" I said opening my locker.

"Who knew that Emily Fields would ever grow balls" she said letting out a laugh.

"The shy girl is finally growing balls" I said giggling.

"Foreal though, how long is it going to be?" She asks.

"That...is none of your concern, unless you're willing to turn gay." I said closing my locker.

"I just might!" She laughing.

"I'm still not telling you, Alison" I said walking away.

"Oh come on! I've went down on you before! Newsflash, we had sex at my house!" She said following from behind.

"Okay okay! I'll tell you but you have to shut up." I said bringing her close to me.

"So?" She whispered.

"About 8 inches or so" I said close to her ear so no one would hear.

"Wow, that's um wow...that's big. Well okay." She said.

"Oh and Alison don't bring up that night we had sex..the next day you were all over that Jock from the football team. Clearly you wanted to stay friends." I said to her walking to the lunch line, I looked back at her and saw guilt. Was I wrong to say that? I mean we had sex and she just forgot it ever happened afterwards.

I sat down at my table with the girls, "where's Alison?" Aria asked.

I shrugged my shoulders.

"I think I just found her." Spencer said looking at the table across from us, I looked over and I saw Alison flirting with Noel. Super close together, him letting her grab his food.

"Didn't she just say she didn't want anything to do with Noel?" Hanna asked.

"Yeah..but Alison is Alison. You should know how she is." Aria said.

"How long are you going to be away for em?" Spencer asked.

"For a month or so" I said eating my salad.

"That's not that long" Hanna said.

"A lot can happen in a month" Aria said.

What could possibly happen in a month?
