Planning the Future

Alison's POV

Emily explained everything to her parents, telling them that Lorenzo was just a psychotic guy who was overly obsessed with me. Her parents let her come to my house, the girls and I were going to be together for a couple of hours more.

 Once we got home my mom was planning out the diner for later on.

"Alison, can I speak with you?...Alone." He said coming in to the living room, I nodded my head and went to  the kitchen where my mom was also in.

"Is everything okay?" I asked sitting on a stool.

"Everything is fine, I just wanted to ask you something very important.." He asked seriously. I started to get terrified.

"Kenneth just ask her already! Look how terrified she looks!" She said turning the pages on the cook book she was looking through.

"How would you like to be my assistant?" He asked.

"Wait, what happened to Jacky?" I asked confused.

"She left to California to start some business."

"Isn't it boring to be an assistant?" I asked.

"No actually, look...After high school you're going to want to go somewhere far from here.."

"Yes, New York to start my own clothing line." I interrupted.

"Exactly, before you become the big boss..you have to start at the bottom. Which means being the assistant of the big boss..What do you say?" He asked.

"Do I have to leave with you when you go on business trips?" I asked.

"No, you'll be at the office here. Just in case if I need you to fax over some papers." He said.

"I'm getting paid right?" I asked letting out a laugh.

"Yes Alison, now do you want the job?" He asked.

I nodded my head in agreement.

"Oh and congratulations on you and Emily!" He said excitedly.

"How did you know?" I asked.

"Pam and Wayne called" He said laughing.

I stood up from the stool and hugged him tightly, "Thanks dad" I said still holding on to him.

"What did your dad want?" Emily asked me, the girls started at me waiting for me to answer.

"He wants me to be his assistant..Since I want to be a fashion designer in New York, then I'm going to have to start at the bottom." I said looking at them.

"Wai...you want to go to New York after High School?" Emily asked surprised.

I nodded my head in agreement.

"I don't even know what I want to be in the future.." She said disappointed.

"You'll figure it out soon, Em" Aria said.

"Aren't you like so good at swimming?" Hanna asked.

"She hurt her shoulder remember?" I said.

"It's just not the same anymore." Emily said after me.

"Can you believe graduation is in less than 3 months.." Spencer said.

"Oh my god Spence you're going to make me cry!" Aria said.

"Okay, let's make a promise...We won't lose contact with each other after we graduate. Promise?" I said as I stuck out my pinky. We made a circle and the girls intertwined their pinkies with my own.

I brought them in for a group hug.

These girls literally mean so much to me.

"Girls! Diner is ready!" My mom scram from the kitchen.

We all went to the kitchen and sat on the diner table, I gave my dad a light smile and also to my mom.

"I would like to say a few words...I just want to thank you dad for always being there, also you mom. Thank you for always supporting the career I want for the rest of my life...I'm so lucky to have parents like you. Girls...I love you guys so much, that it hurts! I have the best-est friends ever and the best girlfriend.." I said holding Emily's hand tightly.

We started to eat, the room was filled with laughter and smiles that just lit up the whole room. I looked over to Emily and admired her beauty, even when I catch her off guard she still manages to look so beautiful.

I can't wait to start a life with her.

Wait, does she want to move to New York with me?

I honestly think it's so weird how Alison and her dad have such a close relationship in this story, when I don't even like my dad, lmfao.
