Remus

You were running down one of the halls in Hogwarts, your (H/C) hair whipping in the wind as you were running away from the Death Eaters who were casting curses at you.

  

You whipped your head around quickly and pointed your wand at the two Death Eaters who were catching up to you "Bombarda Maxima!" you shouted, creating a large explosion that made the walls crumble in on the Death Eaters that were chasing you. "Bloody hell, where is that git?" you cursed under your breath looking for your best friend Remus Lupin.

  

Another two Death Eaters came out from behind the rubble and began shouting hexes and curses in your direction, leaving you to defend yourself and putting off your mission of finding Remus.

Time skip to after the Battle of Hogwarts~

  

"REMUS!" you screamed running over to the dead body of your best friend laying beside his deceased wife, Tonks. Tears began to stream down your face as you clutched Remus' body close to your own, clutching his icy cold hand in your own. "Why couldn't it have been me?!" you croaked burying your face into his clothes, not wanting to let go of your friend. "If only I was there sooner, I could have saved you, you would have been able to see your son grow up" you whispered stroking his hair out of his face. "I'm going to take good care of your son Remus, and that's a promise" you said sadly smiling down at your friends peaceful face.

  

You gently kissed his cold forehead and said one last goodbye before leaving his dead body in where the rest of the fallen wizards and witches bodies were placed.
