Young Sirius

You sat with your three best friends James, Sirius and Remus talking about random things under a tree near Black Lake. You all started talking about the upcoming event at Hogwarts, the Yule ball. The boys started talking about who they were going to take and completely ignoring your presence. You blew a strand of your (H/C) hair out of your face in annoyance and suddenly said "well I'm thinking about taking Peter" you said trying to get their attention. "WHAT?! NO!" Sirius yelled and jumping up from his spot. "Aw does Sirius have a little crush on (Y/N)?" James teased and Remus just rolled his eyes and continued to read his book.

  

Sirius' face was bright red and he stomped off back into the castle, leaving you, James and Remus sitting there confused and shocked. James burst out laughing at what had just happened and Remus was snickering behind his book. "You guys are so stupid" you said blushing and running after Sirius who was most likely sulking in the Gryffindor common room.

Time skip~

  

You walked into the common room to find, as you suspected, a sulking Sirius by the fire in one of the sofas. You were sneaking up behind him but before you could do anything he said "James I'm not in the mood for your shit, go bug someone else" in an annoyed voice. "Well I'm not James so you don't have to worry about that" you said in a soft voice, suddenly becoming more awkward as he turned around and looked at you with wide eyes, and a blush spreading down his neck and on his ears. "O-oh it's you (Y/N), listen about what James said earlier-" you cut him off "Do you like me?". He averted his eyes from your intense stare and mumbled out something you couldn't hear.

  

"What was that? I couldn't hear you" you said sitting down on the sofa with him. "I said I like you, a lot" he said louder which made you grin. "Hm? I didn't quite catch that" you said teasingly, just to make him angry and say that he liked you really loud. He glared at you and pulled you into a kiss which soon turned into a full snogging session. You heard a few wolf whistles coming from the doorway into the common room and James yelling "get some!" which Sirius got pissed off at and threw one of the pillows on the couch at him and chased him down the hall. You and Remus looked at each other laughing until you heard a girlish scream coming from down the hall and a "please don't hurt me Sirius!" from James.

  

Sirius walked back into the common room and sat back down beside you, pulling you onto his lap and his arms wrapped around your waist. "So, will you be my date to the Yule ball?" he asked nuzzling into your neck and giving it a kiss. You giggled and replied with "Of course I will" and you spent the rest of the day snuggled up with Sirius on the couch.
