I remember.

The screams, the cries, the death, the blood, the chaos, the fire.

I remember it all.

I never chose to be this monster. I was never able to chose the path that lead me through the forest of life. This was my destiny; my fate that had been set.

My heart used to be warm, used to...feel things. Like love, hope, pity, empathy and happiness.

But my heart has shrivelled, crumbled and froze, until it was cold and dark. It no longer feels anything; it no longer beats.

What am I, you ask?

I can pick up a man, as if he were a feather. I have speed that can make a SpeedStinger jealous. I am able to flip and jump for hours, without breaking a sweat. I can summon fire, or dark energy, destroying anything I desire. I thirst for blood, my only source of food.

What am I?

I am an angel.

But not just any angel.

I am a Rouge Angel.

The Rouge Angel...

"I SAID STOP THE FIGHT!" roared Stoick the vast, bringing a hammer down on the metal cage that was on top of the arena.

For a mere heartbeat, the Monstrous Nightmare before me widened it's eyes in shock, it's pupils still the round orbs that show that he was friendly. But, as that heartbeat passed, the Monstrous Nightmare's round, orb like pupils turned to deathly slits, and it roared.

I just managed to duck out of the way as it shot molten lava at me.

"HICCUP!" roared Stoick, finally realising what he had done.

I ran around the edge of the arena, dodging and weaving from side to side as shots of lava tried to hit me.

I felt the heat rush through my veins again, and I looked down to my hands to see my veins glowing a dark black.

No no no no no...not now!

I didn't know why it happened, but when I got...mad...or scared, my veins glowed so that were noticeable on my skin, and they were a dark black. I hated when it happened, because I would think...rational things. I was...almost scared of myself.

Fight it...turn around...fight...

I heard Astrid calling my name, and it snapped me out of my thoughts. Lava shot past my head, and I dropped to the ground in shock. I heard the dragon powering towards me, so I jumped up and started running for my life again.

I heard my name being called yet again, but everything started to die out, like my ears had been stuffed with sheep skin. My breath felt like it was blowing in my ears, and my heart felt like it was a drum, beating in my chest.

Boom...boom...boom...

My footsteps became lighter as I got faster, and my muscles unclenched as my speed increased. My vision narrowed and focused, same with my mind.

Lava shot past my head, the mere heat from it burning my ear. I shrieked, clutching a hand to my ear as my ear burned. I made a sharp turn, almost stumbling, but my footing was regained before I did.

"HICCUP!" screamed Astrid. beckoning me to come over to the gate as she stood on the other side of it.

I sprinted towards her, everything still slightly muffled around me. My burning ear making my eyes water. I was using every ounce of my strength in me to get over to Astrid, to safety.
