Chapter 9: Dinner?

Today is the day when Ally comes over and is invited over. The parents accepted the invitation and are getting ready now.
"Beth! I need you to get the silverware on the table and turn off the stove while I go and finish these dishes!" Beth mother says.
"Alright, okay, chill..."
I head over and turned off the stove and my hand hits the pot.
"Owww!!!!!" I exclaim and run cold water over my hand. My mom comes running out with her hair look all goofy.
"Go fix your hair I got this!!!" I said.
*Knock-Knock-Knock*
With my hand wrapped in a towel I answer the door.
"Hi. Come in. My mom will be out in a minute."
"Hi it's nice to meet you!" Ally said. One day memory? Wow! That's crazy!
"Oh, hello! Come in." I reply to Ally.
"So how did you burn your hand?" Ally's mother asks she unwrapping the towel herself rudely applying a lot of pressure on the burn. I didn't say anything though. My mom then came out and strained out the spaghetti in the shiny black pot.

I laughed, "My hand hit the pot."

"Oh, silly, you should let your mother do that," she hit my mom on the shoulder roughly, "because you are too young," she said. Uh, hello, she can't see that I am 15? I am not THAT short.

She doesn't look like Ally's mom, at all.. She's not acting like a good foster mom either, if that is, where she was placed after the incident. There's only one way to find out.

"Who was she nearly killed with?" Obviously me because you are reading this.

"Well, she talks about this one woman named Beth," they said. Haha, I knew it. Ally's mother would know me.

"Mom, they don't even know MY name, they are not her parents," I whisper then ask Ally, "Did you bury your Uncle Ryan's necklace in your backyard?"

"Yes, my parents told me not to talk about anything in the past."

"Why?" I ask then my mom thought it was rude and said, "Honey.."

"Why, can't she talk about the past. Will she reveal something?" I ask.

I see eyes in the window. Dark green eyes, peek in and see into mine, he moved over to the door. I back up.

He picked the lock very slowly and quietly and tackles the "mom and dad," and Ally almost got caught under all of it, but I pulled her out of the way. He takes off his mask, and I see Alex..

Oh. My. Goodness. I knew these people were bad. Alex said, "Uncle Ryan, here. He look like him?" He asked Ally. She nodded. "See, this jerk pretended to be killed in a robbery, so that's why she doesn't recognize him, and planned to erase her memory, under all of that ice is a lab, and they made sure you didn't come down. And this lady," he gave her a dirty look catching his breath too, "is the one that killed some people in the robbery to make it look real." The woman and Ally's Uncle, looked, sad, angry, and scared. Ally gave a closer look to Uncle Ryan. "Uncle Ryan?"

"I can explain swee-"
"NO! REALLY? Why my memory? You are very sick!"
"But you'll forget this would even-"
"Happened?" Ally tilted her head, "Sure I'll forget it ever happened but for this moment I'm pissed! Even more because your my uncle! God!"
Then Ally's real family came in and hugged Ally. So she remembers everything before the incident. I see...
