It was a normal day in Holko County but, things seemed well different and... suspicious. Holko was a place in East China. The thing that was unique about Holko was that people in that county spoke English! Not Chinese. English. "Holko" is a rich place. That is probably why most people live there now. People call it "Wonderful." The governors created an idea to make the population regular again. The governors thought that if they convince other people that there is a rich place somewhere else people would go away. That didn't work so, they had to try something different. They got the military involved. They had a plan that was harsh and rude but, that was the only way they could fix the problem. They decided that so many random selected people have to be placed anywhere. It was a normal day for Beth and Ally until the military arrived at their school. Beth and Ally sit next to each other but, don't know each other. They were in history class learning how this is the only county that speaks only English. "Beth, why are we the only county that speaks English in China? " Mrs. Willow asked. "Because, well, these people came and-"

"Who are these people? Beth?" Mrs. Willow questioned.

"Um the. Uh. I don't know." said Beth in disappointment.

Ally raised her hand so high. Ally waited so anxiously for her name to be called. "Ally." Mrs. Willow said with a chuckle. "Ally, why are we the-" Ally cut her off, she was so excited to say the answer.

"These people called are immigrants and they came to China and only taught this part of China how to speak English because they were heading somewhere and needed to stop for food and in exchange they taught us English for food in 1747." Ally gasped for air.

"Very nice Ally. Now, get ready the bell is going to ring in about five minutes."

Everyone was packing up.

"Remember, tomorrow is Friday so that means we have a test. So STUDY!" Mrs. Willow said with enthusiasm. That is when the military pushed the door open and walked in very swiftly with urgency and roughness. One guy grabbed Ally by the hoodie and Beth by the collar of her shirt. "Hey, let go of me!" screamed Beth. "HEY! Put her down!" Mrs. Willow yelled over all of the screaming. "What is going on?!" Ally asked getting dragged to the exit. A million things were going through both of their heads. "What are they doing? Where are they taking us? Will we come back? What are they going to do to us? How did they even get in the school? Most importantly. Will I see my family ever again?" The guy who dragged them by the hoodie and collar threw them into the hallway, both girls thought the same thing: "Lets make a run for it." They tried running but instead they ended up getting choked by one of the officers pulling the collars of their shirts. Both girls flew back. "HELP!" Beth screamed with the sound of losing her voice. Once they got into the van, they tried breaking the windows to get out. "They're bulletproof. You can't get out." the officer said. "It may be bullet proof but-" Ally stopped talking because she lost her words. When the girls calmed down, two officers from the back, got a needle ready and shot them in the leg. "Hey!" Ally yelled. Beth did not say anything, she was in shock, she couldn't feel anything. Soon, they both fell asleep. They woke up on a plane, it was over the ocean. Ally started punching the window. "LET ME OUT!" Ally yelled. A teenager gave her that same shot again and in minutes she was out. Beth asked calmly "Excuse me sir, where are you taking us?" The teenager didn't reply. "Sir?" Beth asked impatiently. "What?" the teenager replied annoyed. "Where are you taking us?"

"To an island."

"What island?"

"Kid, don't worry. We are sending you with stuff to protect yourself."

"Don't worry? What do you mean 'Don't worry.' I got dragged out of my classroom by the collar and got this stupid shot and I might not see my family again. And you expect me not to worry?"

"I'm sorry, they forced me do to this job and I'm only six-teen. Give me a break."

Beth frowned at looked out the window and started to cry. "Please tell me we are going to be safe..." Beth said through all of the tears with her eyes closed and head on the window. "Trust me. I don't know anything they forced me to do this too. I'm sure you'll be safe. Hey, they're the people who forced you away from that place, so I think they will send you some survival equipment..." The six-teen year old said. Beth was silent, but still crying.
