Liv finally had the lasagna & garlic bread prepared

*10 Minutes Later*

El came out all cleaned up

Liv was looking over her shoulder smiling at him

"I guess I'll let you clean up now." El said to Liv smiling he was so adorable

"Thanks, boss." Her beautiful self said as she walked to her bedroom & nudged him on the arm on the way

El went closer to the kitchen and looked at the food "Mmmmm!" "Someone knows how to cook!" He said extra loud so Liv could hear

He could feel her smiling

He cleaned the floor up, he didn't want his part-                               
girlfriend's house looking like a slob

KNOCK. KNOCK.

El looked at Liv's bedroom door then at her front door
Good thing he'd finished cleaning in time. He walked to the door and opened smiling at Cragen

"Youu?" 'Like it was shocking he'd find El here after work hours'

"Yeah it's me" El said grinning

Cragen walked in "Where's Liv?"

Cragen wasn't looking to bad Elliot thought "She's cleaning up. She'd been cooking and out shopping."

"So that's why there's flour under the table?" Cragen looked at Elliot half smirking

Elliot was caught red handed without Liv to back his play

"Mmmmmhm!" Cragen said walking to the living room

Liv came out just before he got there "Hey cap!" She said smiling at him

"Hey Olivia." He said now turning, walking to her

They hugged

Elliot was still in that same spot admiring Liv's look in that dress. El wiped his head "Whew."

"Problem there Elliot." Liv said knowing exactly what was going on

"No, nothing's wrong." Elliot said

Cap looked in between two knowing it could be anything the fact that they knew each other like books

Liv chuckled looking back "You hungry cap?"

"Yeah been waiting on you all day."

"Well let's eat."

They all fixed their plates

They sat down at the table

"Soooo, what is this meeting about?" Don asked Liv

"Meeting? It could just be a regular fun 'ole dinner with my cap." Liv said smiling

"Bullshit." Cap said smirking biting his garlic bread

Liv laughed out
"So how would you like it if two of you're detectives were dating?"

Elliot coughed up his wine that he was drinking chocking, his eyes big
'What the hell' he thought he didn't know what to do

Cragen just looked at Olivia then a wide eyed Elliot who was covering his mouth with a napkin "I'd think it was about time."

"What?" Liv said totally taken back by his words

"It's been 8 years since two of my detectives have been hiding their feelings towards each other. It's about time."

Liv was sitting there shocked as hell, speechless.

Elliot was the same way.

Captain moved his head toward them like is you gone say something or nah

Liv startled "Yeah...." Was all she said still looking dumbfounded

Elliot was speechless.

"So when did all this start?" Cragen said obviously seeing that they weren't gonna talk so he'd suit himself

"Uh couple days ago. It just happened." Liv said "..It was bound to." She said in a slight whisper

El looked over at her "I love you." He mouthed with his lips

"Well thanks for the dinner Liv." He said getting up

They all got up with him

Cragen went to the door El followed him "You hurt her, you're dead."

El laughed and gasped at the same time "We're both you're detectives how dare you threaten me and not her."

"Hurt my daughter, you're dead." Cragen repeated

Elliot laughed

"C'mere Liv!" Cragen yelled to her from the door

"Yeah?" Liv came

He motioned scoot with his hands to Elliot "Can I have some private time with my daughter."

El's hands shot up and walked away smiling

Liv's eyes were beaming she was smiling hard just watching the scene play out

"Thanks for telling me."

"Of course cap." She said

"If he hurts my daughter, I'm killing him."

Liv's mouth dropped open in shock & amusement

Cragen opened the door "Elliot!" He yelled to him

"Yeah cap." He said back

"I love you." With that Captain left

Elliot was smiling to himself

Liv went to the living room where Elliot was both of them was smiling

"What was that all about!" Elliot said smiling "All this daughter talk?"

"Cap doesn't have any kids. His wife died years ago. Maybe he just looks at us as his kids." Liv said now sitting beside him on the couch

"Yeah. I've just never seen him get so out of his 'play hard to get shell' like that before."

"He's a damn good actor." Liv said smiling

"He's happy for us. Thank gyd. We just have to make sure that rat squad doesn't find out." Elliot said

"Tucker will shit in his pants."

"Damn straight." El replied

They both were smiling to themselves

"I need to go clean these dishes." Liv said getting up

Elliot grabbed her arm "No don't go." He pulled her back down now on top of him

She was smiling loving his sudden dominance "I need to go do them Elll."

"No you don't." He said resting his forehead against hers

She closed her eyes smiling "I love you." She breathed out her eyes closed

"I love you too." El said "And you can't turn me on like that either in front of cap!"

Liv burst out laughing "Oh, I love teasing you." a sexiness tease in her voice

"Mmhmmm." El said shifting her on his manhood starting to kiss her neck knowing that was her weakness
